Philosopher’s Stone: Revelation is a Special-grade, Bound item in AION 2. It adds one extra soul imprint effect to high-end gear that has already reached a 100 percent soul imprint rate. You can’t buy it from other players, so every stone you use has to come from your own raids, dungeon runs, or shop currency.
Quick answer: Kill Eternal Ludra in the Abyssal Forge: Ludra raid, which has a 30 percent drop chance per kill. You can also buy up to two per account at the Season Shop for 30,000 Oath Coin.

Philosopher’s Stone: Revelation effect on equipment
The stone is used in soul binding. This step comes after soul imprinting. Once a piece of gear has its imprint rate at 100 percent, you can spend stones to add a new imprint effect on top of the lines it already has. The new effect is picked at random from the options that piece can roll, and it never duplicates a line already on the item. It is applied at a full 100 percent imprint rate.
Soul binding has these requirements:
- The gear must be Heroic or Unique grade.
- Unique items earned from quests are not eligible.
- The item’s soul imprint rate must be exactly 100 percent.
- Each binding costs two Philosopher’s Stone: Revelation plus 1,000,000 Kina.
After the line is added, it acts like any other soul imprint effect. You can enhance it, tune it, or reset it. Each of those actions can lower the guaranteed 100 percent rate based on chance.
The bound effect does not carry over when you pass equipment through inheritance. The stones you spent stay with the old item.
You can tell the binding worked when the item’s soul imprint panel shows one more effect line than it had before, and that new line sits at a 100 percent rate.

There is no crafting recipe for the stone. You get it from boss drops, guaranteed dungeon rewards, and one shop.
Eternal Ludra in Abyssal Forge: Ludra
Eternal Ludra is the final boss of Abyssal Forge: Ludra, a 10-player raid on Conquest difficulty. Ludra is level 75 and has a single spawn point at the Eternal Fortress Throne. Each kill has a 30 percent chance to drop the stone. The raid has a 120-minute time limit and allows 2 revives. Ludra enrages after 10 minutes. The raid has no entrance in the open world, so you queue for it from the Dungeon menu.
| Eternal Ludra kills | Chance of at least one stone |
|---|---|
| 1 | 30% |
| 2 | 51% |
| 7 | 90% |
| 13 | 99% |
Ludra’s loot table includes more than the stone. Each kill can also drop Amplify Stone Fragment (Unique), Balaur’s Essence, Soul Codex, Silentium, and the Wrathful Mind, Will, and Ego pieces at 10 percent each. Ludra’s weapons drop at 0.56 percent each.

Season Shop for Oath Coin
The Season Shop sells the stone in its Growth tab for 30,000 Oath Coin. Purchases are capped at 2 per account, which is exactly enough for one soul binding. The listing runs until December 16th, 2026. You open the shop from the in-game shop menu, not from a merchant in the world.

Guaranteed rewards from party dungeons and raids
Seven other instances award the stone on a fixed run count rather than random luck. Party dungeons use separate counters for their difficulty modes, so they list more than one number.
| Dungeon | Type | Boss level | Guaranteed after |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dying Dramata’s Nest | Party, 2-5 | 65 | 3 / 28 / 28 runs |
| Cradle of Nihility | Party, 1-5 or 2-5 | 70 | 3 / 28 / 28 runs |
| Hall of Illusion | Party, 1-5 or 2-5 | 74 | 3 / 28 / 28 runs |
| Azure Breath Island | Party, 2-5 | 78 | 3 / 28 / 28 runs |
| Citadel of the Fallen Daeva | Party, 1-5 or 2-5 | 82 | 3 / 28 / 18 runs |
| Corroded Decontamination Facility | Raid, 10 | 80 | 8 runs |
| Chalice of Muspel | Raid, 10 | 85 | 8 / 8 runs |
Each party dungeon has a 60-minute timer and three modes: Exploration, Conquest, and Conquest [Hard]. Chalice of Muspel offers Conquest and Conquest [Hard]. Corroded Decontamination Facility runs on Conquest only. All seven are entered from the Dungeon menu. In Cradle of Nihility, the stone also comes from the Odd Energy Cube reward on Conquest and Conquest [Hard].
Substance Morph and other routes
Substance Morph turns Sealed Philosopher’s Stone (Imprint) into a usable Revelation stone. The sealed version has no use until you convert it. The stone also appears through Expeditions and the Trade Shop.

Philosopher’s Stone: Revelation trade and storage limits
The stone is locked to the character that receives it. Plan your farming on the same character that owns the gear you want to bind.
- Bound on pickup and usable by both Elyos and Asmodians.
- Fits in Character Storage, but not Server Storage.
- Cannot be listed in public trade or handed over in personal trade.
- Cannot be sold.
- Stacks up to 1,000 and requires level 1.
Because each binding takes two stones, the Season Shop’s two-per-account cap covers one item. Each additional piece of gear needs two more stones from Ludra kills, dungeon run counters, or Substance Morph.
