In AION 2, you need Odyle Energy to unlock the final reward cube in an Expedition, Transcendence, or Sanctuary. If your Energy runs out before you finish a dungeon, the cube remains inaccessible, and most of that run’s loot is locked away. Small Odyle Energy is a consumable that replenishes the pool by a small amount. It cannot be purchased with Kina or traded, and you obtain it through regular play.
Quick answer: Using one Small Odyle Energy adds 10 Odyle Energy. You get it from quest rewards, the Daeva Pass, Hidden Cubes, achievements, attendance rewards, and the Special Daeva Supply Chest.

Small Odyle Energy effect and item stats
Each item does one thing. It adds 10 Odyle Energy to your character’s bar, and you spend that Energy to activate the Odyle Energy Cube after clearing an Expedition, Transcendence, or Sanctuary. It has no duration and no cooldown, so you can use as many as you want in a row.
| Attribute | Value |
|---|---|
| Effect | Recharges 10 Odyle Energy |
| Grade | Special |
| Type | Usable |
| Gear tier | t1 |
| Required level | 20 |
| Max stack | 1000 |
| Trade | Cannot be traded |
| Crafting recipe | None |
The item is bound to the character that receives it. You can put it in Character Storage, but you can’t move it through Server Storage, and you can’t sell it or pass it along through Public Trade or Personal Trade. That means an alt can’t use energy your main has been saving, and the reverse is also true.

No shop sells Small Odyle Energy for Kina, and there’s no way to craft it. Every copy comes from a reward source. Quests supply by far the most. More than 250 quests award it, including the long series of Wanted bounties and the regional Command quests.
| Source | Details |
|---|---|
| Quest rewards | 258 quests, mostly Wanted and Command quests |
| Daeva Pass | Pass reward track |
| Hidden Cubes | 1 Hidden Cube |
| Achievements | 2 achievements |
| Attendance | Login reward |
| Special Daeva Supply Chest | 1 per chest |
Some examples of Wanted quests that pay out are Wanted: Worshiper Dekish, Wanted: Scouter Sahar, Wanted: Destroyer Tarka, and Wanted: Heartless Mozant. Command quests make up much of the rest, from area cleanups such as Moslan Forest Cleanup and Scarlet Forest Cleanup to the Abyss objectives in Reshanta’s Root and the Archipelago of Siel’s Wings. If you clear Command quests regularly, Small Odyle Energy will keep landing in your inventory even when you aren’t trying to collect it.
The Special Daeva Supply Chest (Bound) is a Rare usable box with a required level of 1. Opening it gives 3 Life Crystal (Bound), 1 Resurrection Spiritstone (Bound), 3 Battle Enhance Scroll (Bound), and 1 Small Odyle Energy (Bound). There are six versions of the chest, and each one is bound and can’t be traded.

Small Odyle Energy variants
Several versions of the item can show up in your inventory under slightly different names. All of them add the same 10 Energy, share the same stack size of 1000, require level 20, and can’t be traded. The name suffix only shows how you got it or how long it lasts.
| Item name | Energy | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 10 | Standard version | |
| 10 | Season-tagged | |
| 10 | Time-limited, 2 variants | |
| 10 | Time-limited, 2 variants | |
| 10 | From helping Sprout Badge players |
Use the 7-day and 30-day versions before your season-tagged or standard copies. The time limit is written into their names, so they’re the ones that can disappear if you leave them sitting in your inventory.
You earn the Gratitude version by helping Daeva who have the Sprout Badge, which marks newer players. If you join runs with those players, you collect Energy in addition to the normal clear rewards.

Using Small Odyle Energy against the Energy cap
To use the item, open your inventory and use it directly. If it works, your Odyle Energy bar goes up by 10 for each copy, and the stack count goes down by one. When to use it matters more than how, because of how the Energy cap works.
Passive regeneration stops at 560 Energy, or 840 with the Special Quai Membership. Any regeneration past that point is lost. Energy from consumables doesn’t follow that limit and can push your total as high as 2,000. In practice, Small Odyle Energy works best as a reserve. Keep the stack in your inventory while your bar fills on its own, then use it when you want to spend more than regeneration alone gives you.
Ten Energy is a small amount compared with what reward cubes cost, so it usually takes a few items to cover one cube.
| Content | Cube cost | Small Odyle Energy needed |
|---|---|---|
| Exploration: Krao Cave, Urugugu Canyon | 20 | 2 |
| Exploration: Fire Temple | 30 | 3 |
| Conquest (e.g. Vakron Sky Island) | 40 | 4 |
| Transcendence | 40 | 4 |
You can stack up to 1000 copies per slot, so there’s no inventory reason to use them early. A full stack works out to 10,000 Energy in total, but each time you use them, your bar still can’t go above 2,000. Save them for weeks when you plan to run Conquest or Transcendence repeatedly, and use the time-limited copies first so none of them expire.
