Chop A Forest, a Roblox incremental simulator from WCT Capital, makes a simple offer. A man in a suit stands by a bank vault and promises its contents to whoever cuts down every tree in the forest. There are exactly 1,600 of them, spread across eight fenced zones, and every one has to go before the safe opens. A fresh run starts you with bare fists and nothing else. Spend enough Robux on the secret Clawman class and a stack of gamepasses, though, and the same run turns into a two-hour demolition job that ends with more than $2.7 million in the bank.
Quick answer: Fell all 1,600 trees in Normal mode, clearing each zone fully to open the next, then talk to The Businessman. The “FOREST CLEARED!” screen confirms the win.
The Businessman’s deal and the 1,600-tree goal
Runs launch from the “START A RUN” pads in the lobby. The Forest is the map, Normal is the mode, and a party can hold one to four players. Solo and friend runs save, so a half-cleared forest is still there the next time you log in. Once you load in, The Businessman waits beside the safe near the bank. Talk to him early and he brushes you off with “Go finish your job first,” along with a running count of how many trees are still standing.

The forest opens one zone at a time, always in the same order. Each fence stays shut until the zone in front of it reaches 100 percent.
| Order | Zone | Opens after clearing |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Oak Wood | Starting zone |
| 2 | Birch Grove | Oak Wood |
| 3 | Pine Wood | Birch Grove |
| 4 | Evergreens | Pine Wood |
| 5 | Cherry Grove | Evergreens |
| 6 | Autumn Wood | Cherry Grove |
| 7 | Fir Giants | Autumn Wood |
| 8 | Golden Aspens | Fir Giants (final zone) |
The trees get tougher as you go. Pine trees take more work than oak or birch, Evergreens bring in hardy Cypress trees, and the massive firs in Fir Giants need eight claw hits each, even with Clawman’s damage bonus.

Add to Google Preferences →How the zone gates unlock
Cash can’t open a fence. Only felled trees can. Walk up to the Birch Grove barrier too early and the game spells out the rule: every tree in Oak Wood has to be chopped first, followed by the exact number still left. The first gate works as a counter, which makes it easy to see how close you are.

Fell the final tree and, as the barrier comes down, a notice such as “BIRCH GROVE UNLOCKED!” appears. In later zones, opening the next area also clears the old zone’s stumps. That leaves the logs already on the ground ready to collect. On unlocking Pine Wood, one pass with the vacuum picked up 603 logs worth $134.68k. Evergreens yielded even more: 1,464 logs in one cashout.

You can reach a sell point in every new zone. Birch Grove has a dedicated chipper, and cutting upgrades bought earlier remain active in later areas.
Chop A Forest coins: $1 per log and what multiplies it
All coin income comes from one loop. A felled tree breaks into log pieces, and the pieces get carried to the yellow-and-black “SELL LOGS” / “DROP LOGS” pad beside the Timber Chomp drum chipper. A plain log is worth $1. Everything else in the economy either moves more logs per trip or makes each log worth more.
Where you hit the tree matters. Strike it at the root and the whole tree comes down, giving roughly five to six logs from an Oak or Birch. Cut it higher on the trunk and the stump stays behind, leaving you with about three logs for the same effort. Felling several trees at the base and then hauling everything in one trip saves a lot of walking compared with selling one tree at a time.
Tree mutations and their cash multipliers
Certain trees appear with mutations, giving them a glow or shimmer unlike ordinary wood. Their logs are worth a multiple of the standard price, and Gems are automatically picked up when the tree hits the ground. You might see a Candy mutation on the first oak you punch.

| Mutation | Cash value | Rarity | Gems dropped |
|---|---|---|---|
| Default | x1 | Common | None |
| Golden | x3 | Rare | About 2–3 |
| Candy | x4 | Rare | About 2–3 |
| Frost | x5 | Epic | 6+ |
The tiers continue beyond Frost, reaching multipliers of 6x, 7x, 14x and 25x before topping out at 40x for God rarity. A complete clear also reveals Rainbow, a multicolored shifting tree in Birch Grove; Diamond in Pine Wood; Toxic, a vivid green Pine Wood tree; and Electric on Fir Giants. Their precise multipliers have not been established. The permanent Mutation Luck perk increases the odds of rare mutations spawning.

What coins buy, from the Axe to Dynamite
Coin purchases last only for the current run. Each new forest starts from zero. The Axe, Vacuum and Dynamite hang in the Tool Shop cabin, the Backpack sits on a stump outside it, and stat upgrades live in the Upgrades menu, which also holds the Stats and Index tabs.
| Purchase | Cost | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Hold (Hands) | $20 | Punch by holding the button |
| Speed (Hands) | $30 | Faster punches |
| Walk Speed I | $20 | Faster movement |
| Axe | $150 | Fells trees in fewer hits |
| Backpack | $175 | Carries 10 logs |
| Sharpness 1 / 2 (Axe) | $200 / $300 | Fewer swings per tree |
| Chipper Speed | $200 | Converts logs to coins faster |
| Rusty Runabout | $500 | Truck bed holds 50 logs |
| Backpack upgrade | $750 | Carries 25 logs |
| Vacuum | $1,000 | Pulls fallen logs into your bag |
| Dynamite | $2,500 | Fells several trees at once |
| Backpack upgrade | $3,000 | Carries 75 logs |
| Backpack upgrade | $9,000 | Carries 150 logs |
The cheapest path out of the punching stage runs through Hold, then the Axe, then the Backpack, then $500 saved for the Rusty Runabout. Each purchase pays for the next one faster. With a full backpack, five more logs still fit in your hands. Axe Sharpness keeps scaling, with Sharpness 4 at $400, Sharpness V at $600 and Sharpness VI at $1,250. Walk Speed tops out at Walk Speed VI for $1,000.
Hands upgrades quickly stop paying off, since the Axe takes over from your fists within minutes. Grasp is the exception, allowing you to carry more logs at a time. Chipper Speed pays off when you start unloading entire truckloads. Save Dynamite for the packed later zones rather than Oak Wood. The Rusty Runabout purchase registers only after the “TRUCK QUEST” objective is complete; to see the truck outside the Garage, you must spawn it.
Garage vehicles and their carry limits
The Garage sells ten trucks. Coin-bought trucks last for one run, while the Gem and Robux tiers are permanent. Loading means clicking logs into the truck bed, then backing up to the chipper to dump the whole load at once.
| Tier and vehicle | Speed | Carry | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 · Rusty Runabout | 36 | 50 | $500 |
| 2 · Farmhand Pickup | 39 | 75 | $2,800 |
| 3 · Timber Flatbed | 42 | 100 | $4,500 |
| 4 · Stakebed Hauler | 45 | 125 | 300 Gems |
| 5 · Ridge Dumper | 48 | 150 | 600 Gems |
| 6 · Ranger 6×6 | 51 | 175 | 1,200 Gems |
| 7 · Timber Hauler | 54 | 200 | 2,000 Gems |
| 8 · Big Timber Rig | 57 | 225 | 120 Robux |
| 9 · Ironwood 8×8 | 60 | 260 | 240 Robux |
| 10 · Timber King | 64 | 300 | 400 Robux |
Vehicle prices have shifted since launch. The Timber Flatbed has also been listed at 6,500 coins, and the Robux tiers have appeared at lower prices. The number shown in the Garage is the one you pay. Trucks run on fuel, so it’s worth checking the gauge before a long drive.
The Clawman class and the Robux gamepasses
Clawman is the game’s Secret-rarity class, and its flavor text reads “Shing. The forest never stood a chance.” It comes with its own Wolverine-style claws, which hit hard and never overheat, plus a leap attack that lunges the player toward a tree. Its Robux price has varied. It sold for 1,200 Robux in the shop at one point and for 1,499 Robux at another, and it is also available for 4,000 Gems when it rotates into the Classes stand.
- +200% Power (listed in the Robux shop as Punch Power)
- +35% Walk speed
- +100% Sell price and +100% Rare tree luck on the Classes stand
- +5 Carry on the stand, or +5 Jump Power in the Robux shop listing
- +100% Tree XP and +100% Tree Drops in the Robux shop listing
The claws come with their own upgrade line, covering Jump Distance, Attack Speed and Ability Cooldown. A fully kitted run stacks several gamepasses on top of the class.
| Gamepass | Effect | Price |
|---|---|---|
| INFINITE BACKPACK | No log limit on your back | 120 R$ |
| 2X COINS | Every log sells for double | 160 R$ |
| 2X LOGS | Each grabbed log counts as two | 120 R$ |
| VACUUM | Permanent Vacuum in every game | 160 R$ |
| CHAINSAW | Permanent Chainsaw in every game | 200 R$ |
| Rainbowmaker | Every cut tree becomes Rainbow | R$64 |
Tools can also be bought outside a run’s coin economy. The Axe costs 16 Gems for one run or 64 Robux permanently. The Vacuum costs 32 Gems or 160 Robux, and Dynamite costs 40 Gems or 200 Robux. A Trial Saw is listed at R$20. These Robux prices have also moved over time.
Gems, classes and permanent perks
Gems are the currency that carries over between runs. Beyond mutated trees, the lobby offers two free sources. The Daily Reward chest pays +25 Gems on Day 1. The Group Reward pays +100 Gems once you like and favorite the game on its Roblox page and join the Studio Bricked group, and the reward panel shows “+100 DONE” when the claim goes through.
The Gem Perks menu sells four permanent boosts: Sell Value, Mutation Luck, Gem Value and Bigger Bundle. Sell Value costs 25 Gems and adds 10% cash per log, which makes it the most direct coin boost. Mutation Luck costs 40 Gems and Gem Value costs 50.
| Class | Rarity | Gem price | Perks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Woodcutter | Common | Owned | +5% Power |
| Lumberjack | Uncommon | 180 | +10% Power, +1 Carry |
| Logmaster | Rare | 270 | +10% Sell price, +2 Carry |
| Timber Baron | Rare | 330 | +30% Sell price |
| Ultimate Lumberjack | Legendary | 1,600 | +50% Power, +20% Walk, +25% Sell |
| Lumber Legend | Mythic | 2,700 | Half of Clawman’s boosts, +3 Carry |
| Clawman | Secret | 4,000 | Full set listed above |
Lumber Legend provides +100% Power, +25% Walk speed, +50% Sell price and +50% Rare tree luck; it is available for 899 Robux as well. Timber Baron is the lowest-cost class focused solely on sell price. Chainsaw Specialist, Forest Reaper and Timber Titan are also displayed on the stand.
A new Classes stand selection appears every 5 minutes, with some classes absent from any given rotation. Clawman is seldom available. Rerolling costs 29 Gems.
Claws, Chainsaw and Dynamite compared
Once you’ve moved past bare hands and the Axe, the late game comes down to three tools that work in different ways.
- Clawman claws cut at a steady speed with no overheat, and the leap closes gaps between trees.
- Chainsaw cuts faster than anything else, but it overheats with sustained use and has to cool down.
- Dynamite is thrown at a cluster, and its Cooldown, Blast Radius and Throw Range all upgrade. One bomb can drop several trees.
The Chainsaw doesn’t have to come from a gamepass. Pine Wood has a Saw Shack, and the coin version costs 7,500. The saw stays unavailable until your current zone is fully cleared, so an empty shop is a progress gate, not a sign you can’t afford it. Clawman owners who also have the saw get the fastest results by switching between the two. They run the Chainsaw until it’s close to overheating, switch to claws while it cools, then go back. That rhythm cleared Cherry Grove, Autumn Wood and most of what came after.

Dynamite works best in the thick Pine Wood stands. You throw it into a cluster, wait for it to go off, and vacuum up everything that falls.
The cleared forest and the safe reward
The fully upgraded run hit its milestones in order: earnings passed $500,000 in Evergreens, exceeded $1,000,000 after Autumn Wood unlocked, and reached Golden Aspens with 157 trees remaining and more than $2.09 million. Once the final aspen falls, The Businessman changes his tune: “Well, well, well. Not one tree left standing.” Next, he says, “A deal’s a deal. Everything in that safe is yours” and finishes with, “Pleasure doing business, lumberjack.”
The win is confirmed by the “FOREST CLEARED!” screen, which shows NORMAL mode and the run’s final numbers.
| Stat | Final value |
|---|---|
| Trees felled | 1,600 |
| Logs sold | 12,198 |
| Cash earned | $2,759,837 |
| Upgrades bought | 104 |
| Gems earned | 753 |
| Time | 02:02:22 |
That two-hour clear depended on a secret class, five gamepasses and every upgrade maxed. A free run follows the same eight gates and the same 1,600-tree count. It simply gets there more slowly, built up one $1 log at a time.
