Candy is the Spooky Event currency in Rivals, and the event shop prices it high. The Zombie Walk Emote alone costs 5,000. No AFK trick or hidden farm exists. Candy comes from two things: a short daily routine that most players never fully unlock, and one multiplier that rewards showing up every day rather than grinding for hours on a weekend.
Quick answer: Play 20 duels, finish your Daily Tasks, then claim event quests in the Spooky Event Hub while Candy Rush boosts your first 200 Candy of the day. Work on Contracts in the same matches.
Rivals Candy unlock requirements
Candy isn’t awarded for ordinary matches by themselves. Event quests have two prerequisites, and new accounts must meet both. That explains why many players suspect Candy is bugged on day one.
- Your account must have played 20 duels before the Spooky Event Hub quest menu becomes available.
- Complete your usual Daily Tasks for the day to make event quests available.
- Candy is earnable only during the event’s limited run.
- You don’t need Robux, a pass, or any specific weapon to start earning.
Until both gates are cleared, the Spooky Event menu shows a lock icon and the message “Complete your Daily Tasks to start earning Candy!” Matches you play before then add nothing to your event balance.

Add to Google Preferences →Daily Candy routine in Rivals
Do this once per day, preferably soon after your tasks reset. A short session each day yields more Candy per minute than an extended grind.

How Candy Rush works
Candy Rush turns on once per day. It makes your first 200 Candy of that day five times faster to earn. Event quest rewards count toward that total, so the boost stays active until you hit the 200 cap.
Once you reach the cap, Candy continues to accrue at its usual rate, but every extra minute is worth far less. Logging in each day is better than playing marathon sessions. Miss a day and that day’s boosted 200 is gone permanently. A noticeable slowdown in your counter means the boost has run out. If you are mindful of time spent, stop there and return after the next reset.
Extra free Candy: Contracts and event towers
Contracts
The Contracts list sits beside Daily Tasks and pays Candy for the whole event. Its goals are weapon eliminations and playtime, so they progress during duels you were going to play anyway. Check the list before you queue and equip whatever weapon a Contract asks for. That way each elimination counts toward several goals at once.
Gargoyle Tower and Zombie Tower
The event’s two towers provide another free way to earn Candy: Gargoyle Tower, introduced this year, and Zombie Tower, returning from last Halloween with few changes. Both involve climbing floor by floor. Defeat every enemy on a floor to open the route upward. You can climb alone or alongside other players.
Use the Spooky Event menu’s bottom entry to get inside. Alternatively, in the lobby, follow the passage on the right, then interact with the gargoyle statue past the SenseiWarrior NPC.
Your starting weapon is a Handgun, Revolver, or Shorty. Drops that appear after you clear a floor are the only way to restore health or ammo. Pick up an Assault Rifle if one appears, rely on melee when you can to conserve ammo, and slide to keep enemies from surrounding you.
| Tower | Charm | Wrap | Skin |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gargoyle Tower | Gargoyle Head Charm | Conduction Wrap | Towerstone Wildcat Skin |
| Zombie Tower | Chombie Head Charm | Zombie Wrap | Towerstone Fists Skin |
You get these cosmetics for reaching the top of each tower.
Prize Wheels and Haunted Chests
There are two wheels. The standard Prize Wheel is part of your Daily Task streak and is awarded on days 2, 4, 6, and 7. The Spooky Prize Wheel is the event version. It’s sold in the shop for 24 Keys per spin, 200 Keys for ten spins, or 480 Keys for 25.
| Spooky Prize Wheel result | Odds |
|---|---|
| Key | 27% |
| Haunted Chest | 25% |
| Haunted Chest (x3) | 20% |
A Haunted Chest costs 30 Candy in the event shop and can contain the Candy Dance emote. Each chest you win on a wheel saves you that purchase.

Spins are chance-based, so Candy is never assured. Consider both wheels an extra alongside quests, especially when saving for a particular item.
Rivals Candy bundle prices in Robux
Buying Candy is optional. The Shop sells it directly in a limited-time section, and the green plus button next to your Candy counter takes you there.
| Bundle | Candy | Robux |
|---|---|---|
| Candy Bundle | +100 | 48 |
| Mega Candy Bundle | +400 | 160 |
| Super Candy Bundle | +900 | 360 |
| Ultra Candy Bundle | +4,500 | 1,400 |
| Legendary Candy Bundle | +11,000 | 3,000 |

The Legendary Candy Bundle also includes 30 Haunted Chests and exclusive event items. The Ultra and Legendary tiers give far more Candy per Robux than the small packs, so buying the 48-Robux bundle over and over is the most expensive way to reach a large total. The Bat Bundle in the same shop is a cosmetics set and contains no Candy.
Spooky Event shop costs and how long Candy takes
Pick your target before you start farming. Each day gives you about 200 boosted Candy, plus whatever you earn at the normal rate afterward. Cheaper cosmetics still take several days. The emote can take weeks.
| Item | Type | Candy cost |
|---|---|---|
| Haunted Chest | Chest | 30 |
| Jerm Charm | Charm | 1,000 |
| Brewery Wrap | Wrap | 2,000 |
| Acid Splash Universal Finisher | Finisher | 3,000 |
| Zombie Walk Emote | Emote | 5,000 |
How to check your Candy balance
During the event, your Candy total is displayed at the top of the screen. A rise in that total verifies credit when you complete a quest or Contract, or buy a bundle. Completing Daily Tasks also makes the lock notice disappear from the Spooky Event menu, confirming Candy can be earned that day. If the counter slows during a session, you’ve exhausted that day’s Candy Rush; the next boosted 200 becomes available after the reset.
