In the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 campaign, Stranded is mission 10, set in an open North Korean sandbox with several optional achievements. To earn Incoming!, you must take out all vehicle reinforcements at the SAM Site before they can unload. Trucks and the final armored vehicle follow a set arrival pattern along two roads, so preparation is the main challenge.

Quick answer: Unlock Bomb Drones at the Jamming Station first. Then clear the SAM Site’s infantry and hit each truck with one drone and the final BMP with two before anyone gets out.

Incoming! achievement requirements in Stranded

The reinforcement wave starts during the Destroy the SAM site objective. It begins once you have killed the soldiers already stationed there. Your squad calls out each vehicle as it approaches. Trucks arrive one at a time, so you never have to deal with two at once.

  • Mission: Stranded (mission 10)
  • Objective: Destroy the SAM site
  • Condition: every vehicle must be destroyed before its troops unload
  • Vehicle routes: the two main roads leading into the site, including the bridge crossing
  • Final vehicle: an armored BMP that takes more than one hit

How many Bomb Drones you need at the SAM Site

Bomb Drones are the most dependable option: steer one into a vehicle while it is moving. You gain access to them when you reach the Drone Control Pad in the Disable the Jamming Station objective. After that, you can open the green Drone Chests scattered around the map.

VehicleCountDrones per vehicleDrones total
Transport trucks616
BMP (final vehicle)122
Whole wave7—8 minimum

Eight is the floor. On higher difficulties, a drone may not finish a vehicle in one hit, so bring extras. If your inventory runs low, the statue you defend at the SAM Site has Drone Chests nearby that you can use to restock mid-fight.

Destroying every vehicle reinforcement with Bomb Drones

Complete enough of the Disable the Jamming Station objective to reach the Drone Control Pad. This unlocks Bomb Drones and the green Drone Chests.
Head to the SAM Site and kill all of the infantry guarding it. The reinforcement trucks don’t start rolling in until the area is clear.
Top up your drones from the Drone Chests by the statue before the first callout. Having a full stock means you won’t need to run for supplies while a truck is closing in.
When a squadmate calls out a vehicle, launch a drone and fly it into the truck before it stops. One hit destroys each transport.
Repeat for all six trucks. Restock at the statue between callouts if you need to.
When the BMP arrives, hit it with one drone to strip its armor. Then immediately send a second one in to destroy it before the crew can exit.

Proximity mine method if Bomb Drones aren’t unlocked

In Stranded, you can reach the SAM Site before the Jamming Station, so you may get there without any drones. Explosives can still earn the achievement in that situation. An ammo bench across the road from the statue is stocked with proximity mines, thermite, and C4.

Clear the SAM Site’s infantry. Then grab every explosive from the ammo bench, C4 included. The bench only restocks after it has been emptied completely, which takes around 10 seconds.
Throw a proximity mine into the middle of each of the two main roads. The house that sits between the two roads is a good position for covering both lanes.
After each truck detonates a mine, run back to the bench for a refill. Plant a replacement on that road before the next callout.
If the BMP survives a mine, finish it with thermite. It can take several thermite charges to bring it down.

Only take the C4 to trigger the bench restock. It is weak, has a short throw, and only one charge can be placed at a time, so it is a poor choice against moving trucks.

How to confirm Incoming! unlocked

The Incoming! notification appears as soon as the BMP is destroyed. That only happens if no troops were dropped off by any earlier vehicle. If a truck stops and soldiers get out, the run is over. Reload your last checkpoint and try the wave again rather than finishing the objective. Once the pop-up shows, you can wrap up the SAM Site and carry on with the rest of Stranded.
