Gray Zone Warfare: How to Complete At Doom’s Gate (Military Base POI)

At Doom’s Gate is Gunny’s reconnaissance task at Northern Reach, a fortified military installation in the north of the map. Gunny says it was built a few months before the Event. The task asks you to search eight objectives spread across a supply yard, two intel buildings, a radio tower and a two-story HQ. Then you carry one file back to base camp. Expect heavy resistance at every stop. You should also know where each document sits before you land.

Quick answer: Land at LZ Lima 1, clear the supply yard, offices and barracks, hack the radio tower, open the HQ Comms Room with code 8907, then take the commander’s file back to Gunny.

At Doom’s Gate codes and objective locations

The base has two keypad codes. Only one of them is required for the task.

The Soldier’s Diary completes two objectives at once. The radio tower and file objectives appear in your task list only after the first set of intel is done.

At Doom’s Gate walkthrough at Northern Reach

Getting in: LZ and supply yard

Open the map, pick the task and deploy to LZ Lima 1, which sits just outside the base. LZ Lima 2 also serves the area if you prefer a different approach.

Thin out the perimeter guards from the jungle before you commit. Long-range fire works well here. After that, push along the sandbag barriers and fence lines, and watch for patrols moving between them.

Go through the fence gate into the shipping container yard. “Investigate the supply yard” completes as soon as you step inside. Expect enemies dug in among the containers and pallets.

Offices and barracks intel

Head to the two-story green modular container building marked B1/B2. Clear the ground floor, then take the exterior stairs to the upper office level. Guards there will shoot at you through the windows.

At the work table beside the radio in the upper administrative office, inspect the folder marked NR ADMIN 214-4/2026. This fulfills “Locate intel in the offices.” For optional armory loot, check the yellow sticky note on a nearby desk for the storage code 9091.

Follow the dirt roads to the one-level barracks container, where you’ll find cots and lockers. Read the Soldier’s Diary on the table in the corner to finish both “Investigate the military installation” and “Locate intel in the accommodations.”

Radio tower hack

Open the map to confirm the new objectives, then move through the fenced compounds toward the tall communications mast. Hostiles guard the approach, so clear them before you reach the building.

Climb the external metal stairs to the second floor of the radio cabin and kill the guard inside. Interact with the monitor terminal using the “Hack” prompt to complete “Hack the radio tower.”

HQ server room and commander’s file

Enter the large two-story warehouse-style HQ and clear the indoor patrols. Go up to the second-floor catwalk offices, then find the room opposite the Comms Room door. Read the Door Console Repair Report beside the green laptop on the desk. It lists the new password as 8907.

Walk to the locked Comms Room door on the upper floor and enter 8907 on the electronic keypad. Step inside and use “Gain Access” on the server rack to complete “Gain access to the server.”

Cross the upper catwalk into the commander’s office. You can recognize it by the large wall portrait, the office desk and a small safe. Take the intel folder from the main desk to complete “Locate a file in the commander’s office.”

Fight your way out past the remaining perimeter guards and follow the jungle trails back to an extraction LZ. The file only counts once you’re back at base camp, so don’t take risks on the way out.

Turning in At Doom’s Gate to Gunny

The final objective is “Retrieve the file and bring it to Gunny.” At base camp, open Gunny’s vendor screen and hand in the dossier. Before you do, check the task log. Every objective above should show as complete except the hand-in. If the file objective is still open, you haven’t picked up the folder from the commander’s desk.

Gray Zone Warfare also has a hidden Handshake task called At Doom’s Gate. That one is started from a map at the south-west LAF Checkpoint inside Ground Zero, and you complete it by finding an LAF GZ Laptop in a duffel bag. It is unrelated to Gunny’s Northern Reach task, so check which vendor your task log lists before you deploy.
