In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s DMZ, the Vault Armory is a compact room enclosed by mesh cages, located in Heavenly Luck Casino Parking—the subterranean garage under the Heavenly Luck Casino in Cheongun Village. The area has a HIGH threat rating. Opening the room requires its matching key to be in your inventory; the DMZ key locations guide lists the other keyed doors on Hajin. Extract with the weapon manual to unlock the option to buy that weapon in Gunsmith.

Quick answer: Cross the casino gaming floor, take the stairwell down to the parking level, then go through the grey “통제구역 RESTRICTED AREA” door. The mesh door inside shows “VAULT ARMORY – UNLOCK.”

How to reach the Vault Armory in Heavenly Luck Casino Parking

When you arrive at the casino, the banner reads “SOUTH KOREA / HEAVENLY LUCK CASINO / THREAT: HIGH.” Guards hold the casino floor and soldiers patrol the garage below, so plan for fights on both levels.

Come in through the front plaza entrance of the Heavenly Luck Casino. Cross the lobby to reach the main gaming floor, recognizable by its slot machines and patterned carpet.
Find the white side door leading off the gaming floor, then pass through it into the stairwell. Descend the stairs.
At the bottom, check your HUD. The location should change to “Heavenly Luck Casino Parking,” and a banner should show “HEAVENLY LUCK CASINO PARKING / THREAT: HIGH.”
Cross the parking level, past the parked military trucks, toward the back rooms. Clear the soldiers on patrol as you go.
Enter the caged room through the grey double door beside the yellow “통제구역 RESTRICTED AREA” sign. Inside, you’ll find a counter window and shelving.
Face the mesh-cage door fitted with a lever handle. If you have the key in your inventory, you’ll see “VAULT ARMORY – UNLOCK.” Select that prompt.

The door is open when you see “300 XP DOOR UNLOCKED” and the prompt changes to “OPEN DOOR.”

The garage also has a caged vault gate marked “DOOR UNLOCKS VIA SECURITY SYSTEM.” That gate opens from Penthouse Security and doesn’t take a key (the Operation Silent Ledger walkthrough covers that gate). The Vault Armory door shows its own name on the prompt.

Vault Armory loot: containers and items

Metal shelves and lines of green weapons lockers fill the armory’s narrow caged interior. The items inside may differ from match to match. The table below shows one example of what the room held.

The Military Bag can also contain other items alongside Nuclear Program Files. Nuclear Program Files can be extracted and sold for cash at the FOB. The Recon Drone is a remote-controlled drone that can mark targets manually or automatically.

Weapon manual in the Vault Armory Weapons Locker

A weapon manual is an item in its own right. The example from the Weapons Locker, “MANUAL: PPSH-41,” is listed as a WEAPON MANUAL worth 5000. If you get it out of the raid, it unlocks the option to buy the PPSh-41 in Gunsmith. The PPSh-41 manual is one example of what the locker can hold. For other ways to collect them, see how to get weapon manuals in DMZ.

Once you grab it, move the manual into a secure slot. That way you keep it even if you lose your backpack before you exfil.
