Enshrouded 1.0 spreads its collectibles across Embervale, from fossils in the Springlands to Cyclops bones in the Albaneve Summits.
Quick answer: 13 collections (12 Collections item sets plus Songs) pay 5,325 XP together. Fossils pays the most at 2,000 XP. Pick up every item in a set once to complete it. All 126 item sets in the game are listed in every item set and its XP.
Every piece is a pick-up at a fixed spot in the world. Most collections also have a showcase, a placeable display made by the Carpenter, Alchemist, Bard or Collector. The named weapons, rings and gauntlets of the Unique Equipment sets are mapped separately in where to find every unique weapon and ring.
How collections work
Each collection is an item set. Once you have obtained every item in it at least once, the game shows “Item Set Completed” and pays its XP one time.
- You only need one of each item; extra copies of a fossil don’t count again.
- A showcase recipe needs at least one piece of its collection found.
- To finish the Orrery, Drak Reliefs, Embervale Miniature, Pikemead Statue, Wall Tapestry or Alchemist’s Wall Hanging set, craft its showcase, since that showcase counts as one of the set’s items.
- There are no showcases for paintings or music sheets.
- Some pieces are not lying on the ground. Six Cyclops bones and the Mirage music sheet drop from enemies you have to defeat.
For each location below, the distance and compass bearing are measured from the closest named place on the map; north is at the top, and distances are rounded to 10 m. A spot described as “high above it” lies far higher than that place, while “well below it” indicates a much lower elevation.
Enshrouded collections and XP rewards
The 12 Collections sets are worth 5,150 XP combined. The Songs set adds another 175 XP. Other XP sources are covered in how to level up fast.

Fossil locations (2,000 XP)
The Fossils set needs all 16 types. Each fossil’s item text ends with its region. The Big Ammonite, for example, reads “This collectible is found in the Springlands.” The Springlands hold five types, Revelwood four, the Nomad Highlands four and the Kindlewastes three. The Trilobite Imprint and Single Gastropod also appear in the Blackmire.
Every type sits at two or three spots, and you only need one spot per type.

Orrery Rings locations (200 XP)
The Orrery set has four items: three rings plus the Orrery Display Pillar. Two rings are in Cinder’s Cradle. The Middle Orrery Rings sit in Revelwood, high above the Grand Planetarium.

Embervale Miniature piece locations (200 XP)
There is one miniature piece per region, eight in total. The ninth item in the Embervale Miniature Model set is the showcase that holds them. The piece text spells out the rule.
This piece is part of a greater Embervale model. To complete the miniature, all pieces must be assembled inside a frame. The pieces can be found inside the beacon dungeons and Cinder’s Cradle.

Mirage isn’t found on the ground. It drops when you defeat the Scavenger elite carrying it at the Scavenger Outpost in the Nomad Highlands.

Cyclops skeleton pieces (150 XP)
Seven bones make up the Hollow Cyclops set. The Cyclops Skull is the only one found on the ground. Each of the remaining six drops from a Cyclops carrying it in the Albaneve Summits when you defeat that enemy.
