All you need to know about the Rituals gameplay mechanic in Fisch.

All you need to know about the Rituals gameplay mechanic in Fisch.

The FischFright event for this year’s Halloween started on October 17, 2026, and introduced the new Caustic Hollow region along with some new gameplay mechanics. Rituals are one such mechanic that players can complete while the event is active, and they provide some excellent rewards, such as exclusive items for gameplay advantages. Read on to learn all about them.

How Do Rituals Work?

Rituals are limited-time mechanics in Roblox Fisch that are active during the FischFright event. They usually require you to complete certain objectives, such as visiting specific locations, collecting items, interacting with NPCs, and spending currency like Treats to activate ceremonies. Most rituals need to be completed on the Caustic Hollow island introduced in the FischFright 3 update.

To complete a Ritual, you usually have to spend a certain amount of event currency, like Treats, which can be obtained in various ways. By completing a Ritual, you get an event-exclusive item as a reward, and it also fulfils a progression requirement for the event. The Dutchman’s Rod, a high-tier rod, is one such reward you can obtain by completing a Ritual.

Getting To Caustic Hollow

Before you can start a Ritual, you need to reach the Caustic Hollow island, where the event runs.

When starting in Moosewood, look near the water to find the Reborn Flying Dutchman, a ghost ship anchored near the coast.
Look for the Reborn Flying Dutchman in the water.
Climb aboard the ship and press E to interact with the Dutchman Captain.
Climb aboard the ship and talk to the captain.
Select the option to ‘Set Sail ‘, and the ship will take you to Caustic Hollow, where FischFright takes place.
Choose ‘Set Sail’ to go to Caustic Hollow.

    Finding the Frankenstein NPC

Once you reach Caustic Hollow, you need to locate Frankenstein, the NPC who lets you start Rituals.

After arriving on the island, head up the main path, move past the houses, and look for the Cemetery. You will know it is close when you see a haunted house on a small hill surrounded by dead trees.
Move past the houses and look for the Cemetery.
Continue forward until you reach Frankenstein. Press E to interact with him.
Reach Frankenstein and talk to him.
Frankenstein gives you a few dialog options to choose from. You can start a Ritual by selecting the second option, ‘I want to begin a ritual’, or choose other options to learn more about Rituals.
Choose the second option to start a Ritual.

You must have the required items, such as Treats, before you can start a Ritual. Collecting them before visiting Frankenstein can save you some hassle later on.

    Ritual Requirements

When speaking with Frankenstein, you can see all the available Rituals, their requirements, and possible rewards. Doing so will help you know what items you need to collect for each one.

Select the option ‘Show me the Rituals’ when interacting with Frankenstein.
Choose the ‘Show me the Rituals’ option.
Once the list of Rituals appears, you can click the Next button on the right to view the requirements for each one.

    Completing a Ritual

After collecting the items you need for a Ritual, return to Frankenstein and talk to him. Pay the required number of Treats to begin. A countdown timer will start, and you need to place the collected items on the surrounding pedestals before the time runs out to complete the Ritual. Completing the Ritual successfully will grant you the reward for that Ritual, and you will progress to the next stage.
