FischFright 3 is Fisch’s third Halloween event. It went live on October 17, 2026 at 16:00 UTC, and no end date has been announced. It adds an event island called Caustic Hallow, a currency called Treats, 44 limited catches, and a set of limited rods. You earn those rods through NPC questlines, goblin ingredients, and a ritual system instead of buying them outright. The event runs on game version 2.06.0.12.
Quick answer: Caustic Hallow’s rewards come from nine NPC questlines, Beatrix’s Cauldron, and the Ritual Grounds. Treats pay for the Webweaver Rod and the Flying Dutchman’s shop. Redeem FischFright2026 for free starter Treats.
Caustic Hallow, Treats, and the event loop
Caustic Hallow is reached by ship. A Flying Dutchman sits on the east side of Moosewood, and its NPC, the Dutchman Captain, sails players to the event island. The rest of the map also gets Halloween dressing, with cobwebs and carved pumpkins at Moosewood and other islands.
Almost everything on the island runs on Treats. You earn them from several sources:
- Selling event fish to the Frightful Merchant
- Turning in NPC quests, which pay between 500 and 3,000 Treats each
- Trick-or-treating at island houses with the Candy Bucket
- Opening Frightful Caskets
- Redeeming codes
The second resource is witch ingredients, and those come from goblins. Every 5 minutes, three goblins spawn at one of 13 locations: Moosewood, Roslit Bay, Forsaken Shores, Mushgrove, Scoria Reach, Ancient Isle, Lost Jungle, Terrapin, Snowcap Island, Skycrest, Sunstone, Castaway Cliffs, or Everturn Forest. A server message announces each spawn, for example “Goblins have spawned at Everturn Forest!” Each goblin hands out a small challenge, such as catching a fish, dancing, chatting, or answering trivia. You have 15 minutes from the spawn to finish it.
Ingredients have two uses. You can spend them on rituals, or you can feed them to Beatrix’s Cauldron, which is how the Eldritch Rod is unlocked.

Add to Google Preferences →Pumpkin King questline and Beatrix’s Cauldron
The Pumpkin King stands at the fountain in the middle of Caustic Hallow, and his questline introduces most of the event’s systems. His first task is to catch 15 FischFright fish around the island. That pays out the Classic Pumpkin Bobber, 500 Treats, and Frightful Caskets.

The next part of the questline sends players to goblin events across the map and introduces the cauldron. When the Classic Pumpkin Bobber unlocks, goblin-spawn alerts start to matter. In the footage, a goblin at Forsaken Shores gives a quick challenge that pays one ingredient.

Beatrix’s Cauldron turns those ingredients into Hex Energy. Each offering goes through a confirmation prompt and moves you along a Hex Stage track. The track hands out Halloween rewards along the way, including bobbers, lanterns, furniture, and titles.

For the Pumpkin King’s last assignment, set Spooky Markers at the docks: Moosewood, then Roslit Bay, Snowcap, Castaway, and Forsaken Shores. Turn in the quest for a Pumpkin Mask, 1,000 Treats, and 10 Frightful Caskets.
If you keep feeding the cauldron, Hex Energy eventually reaches Hex Stage II, which unlocks the Eldritch Rod. The cauldron screen announces the stage and the rod together, so the unlock is easy to confirm.

Caustic Hallow questlines and their rewards
Beyond the Pumpkin King, seven more NPCs run their own chains, and one secret NPC rounds out the list. Four of these questlines end in a rod or rod skin. The rest pay out roses, relics, and Treats, which mostly feed back into the ritual system.
| NPC | Location | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Scarecrow | Scarecrow’s Maze (left side) | Vile Relic, Doomed Skull, vault |
| Webweaver | Webridden Cavern (right side) | Webweaver Rod for 7,000 Treats |
| Pumpkin Pete | Right side of the plaza | Gourdemort’s Rose, 2,500 Treats |
| Dullahan | Hilltop mansion | Fable Rose, 3,000 Treats |
| Hooded NPC | By the green lantern | Doomsekkar Rod |
| Youngster Goblin | Caustic Hallow | Boglin Branch |
| Dave (secret) | Disco mountain | Rave Rod skin |
Scarecrow’s Maze
The main Scarecrow waits in the center of a hedge maze, and six more scarecrows are scattered at its dead ends. Each of the six has its own small task. One wants a dance emote held for 15 seconds, another wants 5 Treats, and others ask for common island fish. One has lost its Straw Arm, which sits directly on the other side of the hedge wall next to it.

Once all six are done, the central Scarecrow pays out 15 Frightful Caskets, 1,000 Treats, a Vile Relic, and a Doomed Skull. It also opens a vault door in the floor that leads down to a hidden underground area.

Webridden Cavern and the Webweaver Rod
A cave on the right side of the island leads to the spider NPC. Its chain has three parts. First you trick-or-treat at every house on the island with the Candy Bucket equipped. Then you catch 10 Webbed mutation fish in the glowing green water inside the cave. Finally you catch 15 Cobweb Cods. The message “The silk is dissolving… the passage to the Webweaver is open.” marks progress. Finishing the chain unlocks the Webweaver Rod for purchase at 7,000 Treats.
Pumpkin Pete and Dullahan
Pumpkin Pete is the giant smiling pumpkin next to the plaza. His tasks are five rounds of trick-or-treating, five candy fish, one Jack-o-Angler, and five Treats for every one of the four Jack-o-Lanterns around him.
Dullahan lives in the haunted mansion on the hill and opens side quests for the household staff: Butler Bartholomew, Chef Ghoulaudi, and Maid Lenore. They ask for specific catches, such as a Cobweb Cod and a shiny fish. Dullahan himself wants a Dobhar from the Frightful Pools and his missing Dullahan’s Heirloom, a plush cat lying on the bed in the second-floor bedroom.
Doomsekkar questline and haunted houses
The hooded NPC beside the green lantern offers the most demanding questline: catch 100 fish in Frightful Pools, land 50 perfect catches consecutively in those pools, and defeat one Haunted House ghost. Frightful Pools are temporary ocean locations surrounded by a green aura; their variants are Vile, Grim, and Doomed. Notices announce their appearance, for example: “There is a Vile Frightful Pool near Terrapin Island!”
Haunted houses stand out because their address plaques glow. Knocking brings up a prompt like “House 429 feels haunted… knock if you dare.” and starts a “CATCH THE GHOST!” mini-game. In it, the cursor becomes a flashlight beam, and you have to keep the light on a moving ghost.
Youngster Goblin and Rave Dave
The Youngster Goblin’s Boglin Branch has three requirements: complete three goblin tasks of Normal rarity or higher, turn in 10 witch ingredients, and hand over the Boglin Skull, Boglin Twig, and Boglin Wraps, which are found around the event. Dave, a secret NPC on the disco mountain with the giant pumpkin in front of him, trades the Rave Rod skin for the Dave Rod in exchange for 10 of every mutation rock.
FischFright 3 rod stats
| Rod | Lure / Luck | Control / Resilience | Max KG |
|---|---|---|---|
| Eldritch Rod | 90% / 210% | 0.05 / 5% | 3,500kg |
| Webweaver Rod | 125% / 250% | 0.03 / 10% | 90kg |
| Doomsekkar Rod | 100% / 275% | 0.08 / 0% | 5,000kg |
| Boglin Branch | 80% / 180% | 0.05 / 20% | 550,000kg |
Eldritch Rod comes with its own UI and a chance at the Eldritch mutation. Webweaver Rod summons spiders that passively pull in extra webbed fish, and it uses a web-themed catch bar. Doomsekkar Rod sets off bomb explosions on its control bar and gives a party aura with four buffs: 1.15x Slash strength, 1.2x Lure Speed, 1.1x Movement speed, and +10% Doomsekkar Mutation Chance. Boglin Branch trades luck for a very large weight ceiling.
Two more rods sit at the top of the ritual chain: the Omniscient Spinecaster and Dutchman’s Rod.
Ritual Grounds and Ghoul Nessie
The Ritual Grounds are a circle of skeletal hands at the back-left of Caustic Hallow. Players fill the hands with roses, relics, and Halloween catches to trigger events. Rituals unlock in sequence, starting with the Hexing Ritual, then the Scary Relic Ritual, then the Haunted Ritual. The roses from the Pumpkin Pete and Dullahan questlines and the relics from the maze are all ritual inputs. The ritual menu lists ten rituals:
- Scary Relic Ritual and Haunted Ritual
- Jack-o-Moon Ritual, which calls the Jack-o-Moon weather and its server-wide luck boost
- Boglin Ritual and Enhanced Boglin Ritual
- Dutchman’s Blessing Ritual and Haunted Cemetery Ritual
- Eldritch Ritual, Omniscient Ritual, and Ghoul Nessie Ritual
The Omniscient Spinecaster and Dutchman’s Rod come from the later rituals. Ghoul Nessie is the event’s summonable creature, and it can be caught during the Haunted Cemetery event. It prefers Sour Jelly Candy bait at night under Jack-o-Moon weather.
Flying Dutchman shop prices
A second Flying Dutchman flies across Caustic Hallow. The Dutchman Merchant aboard it sells ritual materials, totems, and cosmetics for Treats. Items with a stock of 1 can only be bought once.

FischFright 3 codes
The event code FischFright2026 is redeemed under Menu, then Codes. A successful redemption grants the Jack-o-Statue Lantern, The Doomsekkar Bobber, 2,026 Coins, and 226 Treats, and the items appear right after you submit the code. A second code, ThanksFor5B, is also shown during the event, though its rewards have not been listed.
Those 226 free Treats are a small head start. The Webweaver Rod alone costs 7,000 Treats, and the shop’s top item costs 25,000, so most of the event’s progress still comes from questline payouts, goblin ingredients, and the long Doomsekkar grind in the Frightful Pools.
