Polaris Falls Cyclops Cave notes and the Cyclops Pelvis

The Polaris Falls Cyclops Cave is a journal lore collection with two notes, and they’re nowhere near each other.

“Gotta Fix That Fence”

Look roughly 60 m south of the Polaris Falls marker for this note: “I can’t have my goats wander off with these one-eyed beasts nearby.”

“Big Brain Tactics”

The second note is far to the south, about 75 m west of a Return Beacon and about 200 m north-west of the Scavenger Tyrant boss. It mentions that “The new order says that we gotta keep an eye on this bridge. A Cyclops cave was found nearby” and that “I’ve stashed their payment in a chest right below their noses”.

The Cyclops Cave itself

The cave’s map marker is about 275 m south-east of Polaris Falls and about 65 m higher. A Cyclops there carries the Cyclops Pelvis, a Rare collectible: “A bony Cyclops pelvis. It’s eerie. This collectible is found in the Albaneve Summits. It can be reassembled to form a Cyclops Skeleton on a Cyclops Trophy Base.” It’s one of 7 parts of the “Hollow Cyclops” collection, worth 150 XP once complete.

Lesser Golden Twinflame Sword at the Lonely Grave

Head about 220 m west of Polaris Falls and drop about 235 m to reach the Lonely Grave. A skeleton there holds the Lesser Golden Twinflame Sword, a Rare one-handed sword that scales with your level. Its item text: “A weapon that was rumored to have fallen from the stars. The man who found it could never feel whole, always searching for a missing piece.”

The matching note, “Never Whole” from The Twinflame Swords collection, is about 75 m south-west of Polaris Falls. It reads: “His last wish was to be buried with his sword. I obliged.”

Polaris’ Map Piece at the giant skeleton

The giant skeleton named Polaris lies about 300 m east of Polaris Falls and about 300 m higher. A Return Beacon about 160 m south-east of the skeleton is the closest one. Polaris’ Map Piece is in a silver chest about 20 m south-west of the bones.

The item text begins: “The fragment of a torn treasure map, found on a dragon skeleton in the Albaneve Summits. Perhaps you could reconstruct the map if you found all pieces?” Flip it over and the back reads “Polaris’ Memoir: I’m a shining star, drifting high up in the sky”.
