The Hollow quest in Survive Overnight in a Mega Store is built around a single cauldron. You find out what it needs, survive the day with food and weapons, and then spend the night opening chests for the missing ingredients while staying clear of the guards.

How to complete the Hollow quest

Launch Survive Overnight in a Mega Store. The Hollow event begins from the starting area rather than inside the store.
Walk onto a platform to start the Hollow event. This puts you into the event version of the game.
Once you spawn in, head into the mega store. Everything else in the quest happens inside.
Go to the cauldron and look at what it asks for. It lists three items you need to collect, so make a note of them before moving on.
Use the daytime to gather food and weapons. These are your supplies for getting through the night.
When night falls, start opening chests to find the items the cauldron asked for. Guards are active at this point, so keep away from them while you search.
Bring the items back and put them in the cauldron until it is full. Then stir the cauldron to finish.

The cauldron needs each item in its required quantity. A partly filled cauldron won’t complete the quest, so keep searching chests until every requirement is met.

Hollow quest badge

The reward for the Hollow quest is a badge. The game awards it once every required item is in the cauldron in the right quantity. If the badge shows up after you fill and stir the cauldron, the quest is complete.
