At Lv 1, the item card lists this effect: “Increases Burn, Paralysis, Freeze, and Bleed buildup rate by 50% for 15 seconds and restores 20% HP.”
The description reads:
“Before every performance, wine was poured in offering: first to pray for blessings from gods and spirits, then for the peace and well-being of the audience. But ever since the Estate changed hands, the ritualists have never removed their Nuo Masks, and the spirits within have grown ever more rampant with each exorcism.”

Ritual Wine upgrades
Ritual Wine upgrades from Lv 1 to Lv 7. Each level raises the buildup bonus, the duration, the healing, or the number of uses, and each one costs Remnant Dust.
| Level | Effect | Uses | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lv 2 | 60% buildup for 15 seconds, restores 20% HP | 2 | 3,600 Remnant Dust |
| Lv 3 | 60% buildup for 20 seconds, restores 20% HP | 2 | 5,400 Remnant Dust |
| Lv 4 | 60% buildup for 20 seconds, restores 20% HP | 3 | 7,200 Remnant Dust |
| Lv 5 | 70% buildup for 20 seconds, restores 30% HP | 3 | 9,000 Remnant Dust |
| Lv 6 | 70% buildup for 25 seconds, restores 40% HP | 3 | 10,800 Remnant Dust |
| Lv 7 | 70% buildup for 25 seconds, restores 40% HP | 4 | 12,600 Remnant Dust |
Burn, Paralysis, Freeze, and Bleed all get the buildup bonus at every level. Raising Ritual Wine from Lv 1 through Lv 7 requires 48,600 Remnant Dust altogether.
Medicine upgrades also need Healer’s Memory materials. Apprentice covers the upgrade to Lv. 2, Skilled covers Lv. 2 through 4, and Master covers Lv. 4 up to max level. Quick Hand Zhang sells them.
What Ritual Wine is good for
Ritual Wine speeds up Burn, Paralysis, Freeze, and Bleed buildup for a short window and heals you at the same time. That makes it a fit for weapons and Phantom Edges that inflict those effects, such as the Bleed weapon Jagged Steel. For other ways to raise your output, read up on how to increase damage in Phantom Blade Zero.
