At times, they would return empty-handed and be struck at their vital spot. Yet even when they found something, their only reward was to be sent out once more…
Their master was changing. Little by little, she came to call only two names—one that never answered, and one that always did.
In the end, that faint, illusory voice became the only thing she still believed in.

What Serpent’s Memory does
Serpent’s Memory has one use. It Soul Tempers the White Serpent & Crimson Viper and nothing else.
Bring the material and 5,000 Remnant Dust to Myst in the Order’s underground tavern in Pangzhen, then choose the White Serpent & Crimson Viper. The full process is laid out in the Soul Tempering walkthrough.
The upgrade is Hundred-Knot Serpents. Its effect reads:
“When recalling Crimson Viper with Block+Heavy Attack, summon Hundred-Knot Serpents to attack. The longer the Crimson Viper short blade remains away from Soul, the more Hundred-Knot Serpents are summoned.”
