| II. The Lady’s Prophecy | Threadbound Great Tree, about 55 m in a straight line | The nearer petal; Frost Zither Maidens stand close by |
In Phantom Blade Zero, Bai Chilian’s Memory Flower has two petals, both found in one snow-covered clearing in the Crimson Forest. Frost Zither Maidens patrol the area.
Petal I: The Only Salvation
You’ll find The Only Salvation in the snow on the far side of the clearing that holds petal II. It sits among low, frost-covered shrubs, with tall dark pines around it.

A Frost Zither Maiden follows a set route around the clearing without pausing at any corner. While the memory card remains on screen, she can strike from roughly 26 m away. If she is nearby when you collect the petal, prepare for a heavy hit; heal once the card disappears.
The card reads “BAI CHILIAN’S MEMORY FLOWER” and “I. THE ONLY SALVATION”. In the memory, Bai Chilian talks to a snake. She says “Poor little things… How long have we been trapped in this illusion?”, “A month? A year? Or… a lifetime?”, “Ah… right… You’re only a snake. How could you possibly know?” and “Then go find out, you damned reptile!” Then she cries out “Why… why me of all people?! Left to rot in this cursed, sunless place!”

An Ethereal Voice answers her: “The Lady of the Veil has already cast her gaze upon you… you simply have yet to seize that sacred moment.” Bai Chilian closes the memory with “Master Herald… I want to leave this place… Tell me… what should I do?”

In the Crimson Forest, The Lady’s Prophecy is nestled among bare shrubs weighed down with snow in the snow-covered clearing. Its straight-line distance from the Threadbound Great Tree bell is about 55 m, so this is the nearer of the two petals.

Frost Zither Maidens stand close by. The E prompt for the flower shows up while a Maiden is still about 13 to 18 m away. A Maiden can attack you while the memory card is open, so be ready to heal when it closes.
The card reads “BAI CHILIAN’S MEMORY FLOWER” and “II. THE LADY’S PROPHECY”, along with “Collect all Memory Remnants to increase HP +5%”. In the memory, Bai Chilian says “No… this won’t work… the pipa… it’s incomplete… The Lady said if I put it back together… then I’ll be free…” and then “Ahh, no… no! They’re not here! None of them are here!”

The flower’s archive entry reads “Forest reflects forest, mirror reflects mirror. On every side, she sees only her own reflection, with no path leading out of this prison where day and night blur into one.”

Reward for both petals
Collecting both petals raises your maximum HP by 5%. You can pick them up in either order.
You’ll know it worked when the card for the second petal shows “(2/2) All Memory Remnants collected. HP increased.”
