Smash five hidden vending machines in Tokyo to clear Snack Attack and claim the 2023 Lotus Emira.

Smash five hidden vending machines in Tokyo to clear Snack Attack and claim the 2023 Lotus Emira.

Snack Attack is a collectibles challenge in the Forza Horizon 6 Winter Festival Playlist that asks you to smash five vending machines. Clearing it rewards the 2023 Lotus Emira and triggers the “Feed Me!” skill chain. The catch is that these machines never appear on your mini-map, so you have to drive into them to confirm a hit.

Quick answer: Drive to the 365 convenience store on the eastern edge of the Minamino Golf Course, south of Shirakawa-Go, and drive through all five machines clustered around the storefront to finish the challenge in one stop.

How to know a vending machine counts

You will only register a machine when you crash into it. The moment one breaks, the “Feed Me!” Skill Point chain flashes on screen for a few seconds. That on-screen pop is your confirmation that the smash counted toward the five you need. Once the fifth machine is destroyed, the Snack Attack collectible challenge marks as complete and the 2023 Lotus Emira is added to your rewards.

Minamino Golf Course (fastest single spot)

The 365 convenience store next to the Minamino Golf Course is the most efficient option because all five machines sit in one cluster. Head to the eastern side of the golf course, which is just south of Shirakawa-Go and right beside the Airfield Trail dirt racing event.

Three vending machines stand directly in front of the 365 store, and two more are pushed up against the side of the building just to the left. Drive straight through the front row, then swing left into the pair on the wall. That single pass clears the whole challenge in seconds.

Tokyo City Food Delivery Job (respawn method)

If you would rather not drive across the map, you can reload the game to respawn machines at a single location. This works around the fact that the Tokyo City Food Delivery Job only has three machines nearby.

Fast-travel directly to the Tokyo City Food Delivery Job.
Turn around and look behind the food delivery truck. Two vending machines sit next to Cafe Asatsuyu, and a third is across the street.
Smash all three machines, then quit to the main menu and load back into the game. The machines respawn, so you can smash two more to reach the required five.

Northwest Tokyo City (handy near the Photo Challenge)

If you are already in the city for the weekly Photo Challenge, you can pick up machines under the highway. Go to the northwest part of Tokyo City, just southwest of the Edogawa Baseball Stadium.

Look for a gas station sitting directly under the highway overpass. Two vending machines are on the station forecourt, and a third is around the corner against the neighboring building. That gives you three in this pocket, so pair it with another location or use the reload trick to top up to five.

If you want the cleanest run, the Minamino Golf Course cluster removes any need for reloading. Use the Tokyo respawn route only if you are nearby and prefer staying in the city, and remember that the “Feed Me!” pop is the signal that each smash has been counted toward your reward.
