Jujutsu Zero added eight new passive abilities that each boost a specific Shikigami or summon. One is built for Copy users and the other seven serve Ten Shadows builds. All of them share the same two-part design: a permanent stat increase while equipped, plus a burst effect that fires once the passive’s bar fills in combat.
Quick answer: For Copy builds, equip Rika Passive; on Ten Shadows builds, use your highest-grade Ten Shadows passive. Once the gauge is full, skills linked to that passive deal twice their usual damage for 10 seconds, and triggering the effect resets their cooldowns once.
How the passive bar mechanic works
Every one of these passives behaves the same way under the hood. The equipped stat bonuses apply constantly for as long as the passive is slotted, independent of combat. Those numbers never turn off and never need the bar.
Fighting gradually fills the second meter. At maximum charge, skills associated with the Shikigami named by that passive deal twice their normal damage for 10 seconds; triggering the effect also resets their current cooldowns.

The cooldown reset happens once, at the instant the bar activates. It does not grant free casting for the whole 10 seconds, so timing a single reset into your biggest skill matters more than spamming.

Add to Google Preferences →Rika Passive for Copy builds
Rika Passive serves Copy users, unlike the other passives, which are for Ten Shadows. Equipping it provides +100% Copy damage, +100% Cursed Energy, and +100% Health. When the gauge reaches full, Rika skills deal twice their damage for 10 seconds, and the trigger resets their cooldowns once, following the shared mechanic.

It does not drop from a raid like the Ten Shadows passives. Instead it comes from the Past Rika questline, specifically the Memories IV stage, which requires level 1,000+. Defeating the Yuta mini-boss there carries a 2% drop rate, so expect several attempts before it appears.

Ten Shadows passives and their stats
Seven passives cover the Ten Shadows roster, and all of them drop from the Altar Shikigami Overworld Raids. They split into two Special Grade tiers plus a single Disaster Grade passive. Each one doubles only its own named Shikigami’s skills when the bar fills.
| Passive | Ten Shadows % | CE % | HP % |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bunny | +25% | +50% | +50% |
| Shiro | +25% | +50% | +50% |
| Kuro | +25% | +50% | +50% |
| Nue | +35% | +75% | +75% |
| Totality | +35% | +75% | +75% |
| Max Elephant | +35% | +75% | +75% |
| Mahoraga | +50% | +100% | +100% |
Bunny, Shiro, and Kuro (Special Grade)
These three sit at the entry tier with +25% Ten Shadows damage, +50% Cursed Energy, and +50% Health each. Shiro covers the white Divine Dog, Kuro the black half, and Bunny draws on Rabbit Escape’s horde. They are the easiest to pick up and work fine as placeholders while you chase a stronger passive.

Nue, Totality, and Max Elephant (Special Grade)
The mid tier bumps the numbers to +35% Ten Shadows damage, +75% Cursed Energy, and +75% Health. Nue runs on the storm-bird’s lightning, Totality is the Divine Dogs fused into one beast after one falls, and Max Elephant channels the great elephant’s flood. If your rotation leans on any of these three summons, the matching passive is a clear upgrade over the 25% group.
Mahoraga (Disaster Grade)
Mahoraga has the best passive in the set, granting +100% Health, +100% Cursed Energy, and +50% Ten Shadows damage. It’s the set’s sole Disaster Grade passive. While the bar is full, Mahoraga’s skills deal double damage for 10 seconds, followed by the standard single cooldown reset.

Which passive to run for your build
The choice is dictated by your technique. Copy builds take the Rika Passive, since its bonuses are Copy damage rather than Ten Shadows and its burst only affects Rika skills. Ten Shadows builds pick from the seven raid passives, and the deciding factor is which summon you actually lean on in a fight.
Because the burst only doubles the named Shikigami’s skills, raw grade is not the whole story. A Mahoraga passive is wasted if your damage comes from Max Elephant, so match the passive to the summon that carries your rotation. The permanent stat bonuses still apply either way, which is why a higher-tier passive is never a downgrade on the equipped side.

Verifying the effect is straightforward in combat. Watch the passive bar fill as you attack, and the moment it activates you will see the matching Shikigami’s damage numbers jump and its cooldowns clear once. Hold your strongest skill for that 10-second window to get the most out of the double-damage phase before it expires.
