VV Ultimatum Build Rankings [UPDATE 1]: Best Races, Clans, Charms, and Weapons

Where to spend your race, skill tree, clan, trait, and charm choices for the strongest character right now.

Where to spend your race, skill tree, clan, trait, and charm choices for the strongest character right now.

VV Ultimatum stacks a lot of overlapping systems on top of each other, and the choices hit hard the moment the tutorial ends. Your race, skill tree, clan, Hollow Traits, Spirit Charms, and weapon all feed into the same character, and a weak early pick can cost hours of progression. The rankings below break down what actually performs in the current version of this Bleach-inspired Roblox action RPG.

Quick answer: Start a Quincy, invest in the Speed skill tree first, pick the Sword as your Spirit Weapon, and keep Kurosaki if you roll it. For Arrancar players, lock in Iron Skin or Wings as your Hollow Trait and chase the Cifer clan.

Update 1 is expected to go live the weekend of June 20–21. Bankai and other missing systems are likely to shift these rankings once they arrive, so treat the Shinigami placement in particular as a snapshot of the current build.

Best race in VV Ultimatum

Race is the first and most permanent decision you make, and it sets the ceiling for everything else. Each path plays differently, and the gap between them is real.

TierRaceWhy
SQuincyForgiving progression, reliable PvE, and strong ranged options from early game to endgame.
AArrancarDeepest system thanks to Hollow Traits and Resurrección, but slower to reach its peak.
BShinigamiSolid tools, but key systems like Bankai are still missing.

Quincy is the easiest first character. The progression curve is the most straightforward, so you learn the combat system without fighting your own race mechanics at the same time. Arrancar pays off later with genuinely flexible builds, while Shinigami is held back less by weak tools and more by content that has not shipped yet.

VV Ultimatum Race and Skills Tier List

Best skill trees

Skill trees decide how your character actually fights, separate from what your race hands you. Some trees are universal, some are race-specific, and a few only matter once your primary tree is solid.

TierSkill TreeRole
SHakuda, SpeedHakuda is the top pressure tree; Speed improves every build through mobility and recovery.
AQuincy, Strength, ShinigamiBest ranged, weapon-posture, and Kido-control branches respectively.
BHollow (Arrancar)Clear Cero, Bala, and Hierro identity, but narrower and more predictable.

Speed shows up in nearly every recommended combination for a reason. Hakuda builds run Hakuda plus Speed, weapon builds run Strength plus Speed, Kido builds run Shinigami plus Speed, and Arrancar builds run Hollow plus Speed. Movement, Shunpo stamina, and recovery never go to waste.

Best Hollow Traits for Arrancar

Hollow Traits only apply to Arrancar builds, and they are one of the biggest reasons the path is worth the longer grind. The strongest traits change your movement, defense, Cero output, or Resurrección uptime in ways that stack with the rest of your kit.

TierHollow Traits
SIron Skin, Wings, Deadly Claws, Tailbone, Innocuous Presence
ASkinny, Dense Muscles, Tentacles, Giant
BBack Scales, Energized, Exoskeleton
CHorns

Iron Skin gives +4% Melee Defense and +35% Posture Regeneration with no real downside, which makes it the most universally useful trait in the game. Wings adds +3% Movement Speed, +5% Shunpo Stamina, and +3% Shunpo Speed for clean mobility on any build. Deadly Claws boosts Hakuda Damage by 3% and adds +0.1 Max AP for aggressive melee, while Tailbone trades beam width for a 20% Cero damage increase on dedicated Cero builds.

Innocuous Presence hides your name and Reiatsu signature, extends Resurrección by 20 seconds, and adds +5% Movement Speed, which makes it strong for PvP roaming. In the A tier, Dense Muscles extends Resurrección by 45 seconds with Weapon and Hakuda Damage bonuses, and Skinny offers a huge +7.5% Movement Speed at the cost of a -1.2% Melee Defense penalty that keeps it out of S tier.

Tip: Do not rush past your Hollow Trait selection. Locking in a bad trait early is one of the most common mistakes new Arrancar players make, and traits like Iron Skin and Wings stay useful through the entire game.

Best Spirit Charms

Spirit Charms work differently from the other systems because the game already assigns them in-game tiers from 1 to 4. Higher-tier charms are usually stronger, but they also cost more notches, and going over your notch limit reduces your max HP. The best charm is the one that fits your build without creating a drawback you cannot manage.

In-Game TierBest Spirit Charms
Tier 4A Song of Fire and Thunder, Shonen Syndrome
Tier 3Heavenly Restriction, Raid Boss, Adrenaline Junkie, Await the Opening, Kill Confirmed, Soul Snatcher, Ultimate Sacrifice, You’re In My Range
Tier 2Close & Personal, Ranged Warrior, Frostwalker, Tools of the Trade, Wraith’s Spirit, Perfect Flash, Side Character, Relentless Hunter
Tier 1Critical Blows, Domination, Flashmaster, Giant Fighter, Head Hunter, Prey Turned Predator, Trouble in Paradise

A Song of Fire and Thunder is the strongest Tier 4 charm right now. It buffs both melee and Kido attacks while adding Scorch and Electroshock effects, so it carries value across multiple build types. Shonen Syndrome upgrades a selected move by two levels every 25 seconds, which can swing a fight when timed well, while Heavenly Restriction trades ability access for up to 35% Physical Damage, 15% Movement Speed, and 25% Kido Defense.

For early play, stick to readable effects. Close & Personal (5% Weapon Damage and 5% Hakuda Damage) suits melee, Ranged Warrior (6% Kido and ranged damage) suits casters, and Side Character is worth keeping if your main goal is NPC farming since it boosts damage against NPCs specifically.

Best clans by race

Clans are passive bonuses tied to your race, and rerolls can be limited or expensive, so knowing which rolls to keep matters. The strongest clans give direct combat value like Weapon Damage, Kido Damage, Hakuda Damage, Shunpo Speed, Reiatsu, or Resurrección uptime rather than utility stats like Equipment Load.

Best Hollow / Arrancar clans

TierHollow Clans
SCifer
AAaroniero, Jaegerjaquez, Murciellago
BAntenor, Kufang, Gingerbuck
CLousienbairn, Calius

Cifer is the best Arrancar clan in the game. The +20% longer Resurrección paired with +2.0% Kido Damage, +5.0 Reiatsu, and +2.5 Shunpo Stamina makes it the strongest all-around roll for Hollow players. Jaegerjaquez (+3.0% Hakuda Damage and +3.0 Shunpo Stamina) is the top pick for aggressive Hakuda builds.

Best Quincy clans

TierQuincy Clans
SKurosaki
AEisenhauer, Ishida, Haschwalth
BParnkgjas, Richter, Kraus, Wernarr
CSchulte

Kurosaki is the best all-around Quincy clan because its +2.0 Reiatsu, +2.0% Weapon Damage, and +5.0 Shunpo Speed help nearly every Quincy build. Haschwalth offers the highest direct Kido boost among Quincy clans at +2.5% Kido Damage, which makes it the cleanest caster pick.

Best Shinigami clans

TierShinigami Clans
SShihoin
AKamamura, Kuchiki, Yamamoto
BHitsugaya, Abarai
CMadarame

Shihoin is the best Shinigami clan for mobility-heavy players, with +15 Shunpo Stamina, +5 Shunpo Speed, +1% Lightning Damage, and +0.5% Hakuda Damage. Kuchiki (+3% Kido Damage) is the go-to for dedicated Kido builds, while Yamamoto (+2% Weapon Damage and +5 Shunpo Stamina) suits weapon-focused Soul Reapers.

You get two free clan rolls during character creation, and you can buy more rerolls from the same screen if you are not happy with the result. Rarity matters less than stat value, so several A-tier clans are worth keeping over a lower S-tier roll that does not match your build.

Best elements by race

Your element determines your strongest abilities, so rolling the right one for your race is a major priority for endgame builds.

ElementRaceWhy
SenbonzakuraShinigamiBest Soul Reaper element for area control and long-term scaling.
The SuperstarQuincyStrongest Schrift, mixing offense and survivability.
Los LobosArrancarThe dream roll for burst damage and ranged pressure.
The NecromancerQuincyPunches above its rarity with strong utility and engagement control.

Best Quincy Spirit Weapons

Weapons are the most uneven part of the rankings because each race uses a different system. Quincy choose one of eight Spirit Weapons at character creation and later evolve it, Shinigami assemble a Zanpakutō from three parts and grow it through Shikai, and Hollow only unlock a weapon after evolving into their Arrancar form. The Quincy list is the clearest right now.

TierSpirit WeaponNotes
SSwordBalanced starter with no major weakness; best for progression and early PvP.
ASpear, LongswordSpear excels at range and spacing; Longsword trades damage for safer reach.
BGreatsword, Hammer, ClubHeavy, high-payoff weapons that reward clean hits but punish whiffs.
CRifle, RapierPlayable but harder to recommend due to lower damage.

Sword carries you cleanly until your Evolved Spirit Weapon comes online. To unlock that evolution you need the Sanrei Glove, the ability to meditate, and enough progression to reach Max Reiatsu. Spear is the better pick if you already understand spacing, while Longsword gives extra reach without committing to a slower weapon.

Shinigami and Hollow rankings are still being firmed up. A Shinigami’s strength comes from its Handle, Guard, and Hilt parts plus its Shikai stage, and the Hollow weapon is an endgame reward gated behind evolving into a Vastocar.

Best beginner build

If this is your first character, aim for a flexible setup that does not lock you into a playstyle before you understand the systems. Speed is the safest first tree because movement helps no matter what you decide to do later. Add Hakuda for melee pressure or Strength for weapon-based posture damage once you know which direction you prefer.

For Quincy, take the Sword and a readable charm like Close & Personal, Critical Blows, or Flashmaster. Save the high-tier conditional charms for once you know whether your build is melee, ranged, Kido, PvE, or PvP-focused. If you ever want to start over, Prayer Beads reset your character fully, but that wipes all progress and forces a new race choice, so commit carefully.

Once Update 1 lands and Bankai and other systems come online, expect the Shinigami placements in particular to move. For now, a Quincy running Speed and Sword, or an Arrancar built around Iron Skin or Wings and the Cifer clan, gives you the most reliable foundation to grow from.
