The Ashen Sochuri is a new subspecies of the Sochuri, the bat-like Tier 3 flying omnivore, and it is locked behind the LSS Event 2026 in Creatures of Sonaria. Like every event-only creature, you do not unlock it through normal gameplay. You earn the event currency, Corrupted Shooms, and spend it in the LSS Event Shop.
Quick answer: Earn Corrupted Shooms by clearing corruption from the daily infected regions, then buy the Ashen Sochuri from the LSS Event 2026 Event Shop before the event ends.

What the Ashen Sochuri is
The base Sochuri is a Tier 3 (Medium) flier that breathes fire, can grab smaller creatures, and clings to walls to regenerate stamina and health. It has strong night vision and balanced stats, but its size keeps it from flying for long stretches. The Ashen Sochuri is a cosmetic subspecies variant of that creature, released as part of the LSS event lineup.

Corrupted Shooms are the only currency that buys event creatures, and you collect them through the event’s “fight-the-corruption” mechanic. Each day, two regions become infected with Corruption and are marked on the map with purple dashed outlines. You travel to those regions and complete cleanup tasks to bank currency.
| Task | What you do | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Corrupted Shoom Piles | Collect piles spawning in infected regions | 5–20 Corrupted Shooms each |
| Corrupted Growths | Attack each of the three smaller protective piles 5 times to make the growth explode | Drops Corrupted Shooms |
| Regional restoration bonus | Help fully heal a corrupted region | Fixed 300 Corrupted Shooms for participants |
| Corrupted Spores | Pick spores up and carry them to the Volcano to destroy them | Progresses cleanup |
| Purification Spires | Donate regular Shooms at a Spire to speed cleansing | Faster region progress |
The local Purification Spire doubles cleansing speed, so joining a region while others are active clears it faster and gets you to the restoration bonus sooner. Corrupted Shoom Piles stay in a region even after it is restored, so you can still pick up any you missed until they are collected.
Note: Corrupted creatures and their carcasses inflict Corruption Status, which behaves like Burn but ignores Burn resistance and immunity. Plan your healing before diving into an infected biome.

Buy the Ashen Sochuri from the Event Shop

Confirm you unlocked it
After a successful purchase, the Ashen Sochuri appears in your owned creatures and can be selected to grow and play like any other Sochuri. If the buy does not go through, the usual cause is not having enough Corrupted Shooms, which you fix by returning to an infected region and finishing more cleanup tasks.
The LSS Event 2026 went live on June 12th, 2026, and runs in weekly parts, with the third species teased as the “Sentinel of the Skies.” Because event content is time-limited, claim the Ashen Sochuri while the event is still active rather than waiting, since event creatures and currency are removed once it ends.
