Chapter 7 Season 3 of Fortnite, branded as Runners, ships with a fresh Battle Pass built around the collection of Sprites and the return of Doctor Slone. The headline draw is The Guardian, a build-your-own mech outfit, plus seven more character sets that stretch all the way to a Pen & Ink version of John Wick. Here is everything inside the pass, what it costs, and the exact levels that gate each skin.
Quick answer: Buy the Runners Battle Pass for 800 V-Bucks (or get it free with Fortnite Crew), then earn levels to claim rewards. The Guardian unlocks the moment you purchase, paired skins open in two-level windows from level 10 onward, and John Wick (Pen & Ink) is the final outfit at level 85.

Runners Battle Pass price and how to buy it
The Runners Battle Pass costs 800 V-Bucks (roughly $8.99), keeping the pricing model Epic introduced earlier this year. You buy it once from the Passes section in the lobby, where it sits alongside the Festival Music Pass and the LEGO Pass.
Fortnite Crew subscribers at $11.99 a month unlock the Battle Pass automatically, along with the OG Pass, Music Pass, and LEGO Pass. If you want a head start, a 25-level Battle Bundle is available for 1,800 V-Bucks. You can also skip leveling entirely and purchase up to 99 individual rewards at 150 V-Bucks each.

How progression works this season
Each Battle Pass level requires 80,000 Season XP, and every level grants Battle Stars used to claim rewards. Progression is more linear than the previous two seasons. You no longer pick freely which set to chase first, so only one or two sets from the same tier open at a time.
Because the paired skins share a two-level window, taking one outfit at its lower level pushes its partner to the higher level. The table below lists every base outfit, the page it sits on, and the level you reach to unlock it.
| Skin | Page | Unlock level |
|---|---|---|
| The Guardian | Page 1 | Buy the Battle Pass |

Tip: The John Wick dog can be equipped as a pet once you find and rescue him at a fixed location on the island, separate from claiming the pass reward.
Bonus rewards and Super Styles
Beyond the eight main sets, the pass adds bonus pages that unlock once you finish the core tiers. Several skins carry an extra style locked behind claiming all 101 Battle Pass rewards, so full completion is the only way to reach styles like Spaceburn Voidblade and DJ PJ. Five characters have bonus tracks: Dylan, Cluster, Heatwave PJ, Vanguard Slone, and The Voidblade. Wolfe is the lone set with no bonus page.

The Dylan bonus track headlines with the Pastel Punisher Dylan style plus a Gold Chainsaw, Silver Speedboat, and Silver Cherub Holster. A second part adds Super Styles in Bright Runner, Darkwave, and Astral Flare variants.

Cluster’s bonus page delivers Trouble Reddy and Night Captain Cluster styles, a Night Quack Coaster, Night Quack Smasher, and Ducky Dropper contrail, followed by its own Bright/Blight Runner, Darkwave, and Astral Flare Super Styles. Heatwave PJ, Vanguard Slone, and The Voidblade follow the same pattern, each pairing a themed first page with a trio of recolored Super Styles on the second.
Launch week bonus for Dylan
Epic ran a launch week promotion tied to the Dylan outfit. Players who bought the Runners Battle Pass between June 6 and June 13, 2026 (11:59 p.m. ET) received the Gold Huntress Dylan outfit, the Marbled Speedboat glider, the Venomous Chainsaw pickaxe, and the Golden Cherub Holster back bling. That window has closed, so these items are no longer claimable through the pass.
Fastest ways to level the pass
Steady play matters more than marathon sessions. Daily quests usually take only a few matches and are the cheapest XP per minute. Weekly challenges form the backbone of progression and mostly ask you to visit locations or use specific weapons.
Story quests and limited-time event objectives drop large XP chunks throughout the season, and squad play lets teammates help knock out shared objectives faster. The Assemble the Guardian quests also feed directly into both XP and extra mech parts.
How to confirm a reward unlocked and the deadline
A reward is yours once it shows as claimed in the Battle Pass screen and appears in your Locker under the matching category. Battle Stars only apply within a set’s two-level window, so if a paired skin looks locked, check that you have hit the higher of its two levels.
Everything must be unlocked before the season ends on August 19, 2026. Anything left unclaimed at that point is gone, and Battle Pass outfits are generally exclusive to their season, so they are not expected to return afterward. With the season running through August, regular players have ample time to reach level 100, finish the bonus pages, and lock in every Super Style.
