Rock Fruit drops you onto a Starter Island with 21 more islands stretched out across Sea 1, and the fastest way to reach Sea 2 is to lock onto a clear weapon path instead of grinding at random. The early game rewards you for farming the right mobs, buying cheap swords first, then collecting a short list of items for Yoru. You can start on the Rock Fruit game page.
Quick answer: Farm Bacon mobs on Starter Island for levels, buy the Katana Wooden for 2,500 Beli, upgrade to the Katana with an Orb Blue and 500,000 Beli, then gather a Cat, Rock, Banana, Clown Mask, and Orb Blue plus 25,000,000 Beli to unlock Yoru.

Fast leveling on Starter Island
Starter Island holds three Bacon variants, and each drop plate on the ground tells you the exact chance a mob has of dropping an item. Reading those plates saves you from grinding the wrong enemy.
| Mob | Drop | Chance |
|---|---|---|
| Bacon | Bacon | 50% |
| Bacon Red | Orb Red | 25% |
| Bacon Blue | Orb Blue | 25% |
Bacon Blue is the important one early because its Orb Blue drop feeds directly into your first two sword upgrades. You can hold position on a single mob and let it respawn, which makes leveling quick even at low power. The Toast NPC on this island also lets you grill Bacon for extra EXP once you have some stockpiled.
Tip: Movement matters as much as damage. You can double-jump repeatedly to scale buildings, and pressing Q triggers a dash that lets you cross water between islands without a boat.

Yoru requirements and where each item drops
Yoru is the priority target for beginners because it carries you through the rest of Sea 1. You unlock it at the Mihawk-style Style Sword NPC found upstairs in the Starter Island tavern. The materials are all common drops, so the only real barrier is the Beli cost.
| Requirement | Where to get it |
|---|---|
| Cat | Cat mobs on Desert Island (10% drop) |
| Rock | Moai mobs on Skull Island (10% drop) |
| Banana | Monkey mobs on Skull or Jungle Island |
| Clown Mask | Buggy boss on Clown Island (15% drop) |
| Orb Blue | Bacon Blue on Starter Island (25% drop) |
| 25,000,000 Beli | Mob farming and item sales |
When you loot a material like Rock, your inventory asks whether you want to store it. Choose Store so the item is banked and counts toward the Yoru unlock rather than sitting loose in your bag.
You know it worked when the NPC accepts the trade and Yoru appears in your inventory. If the prompt still lists a requirement, you are either missing that item or short on Beli, so check the exact wording it shows before farming more.

Sea 1 island and mob reference
Once Yoru is done, these are the islands worth visiting for their mobs, drops, and notable weapons. Several drops such as Orb Black, Orb Dark, and Orb Demon feed into stronger specials like After Dark later on.
| Island | Key mob / drop | Notable item |
|---|---|---|
| Jungle Island | Monkey, Gorilla / Bananas | Gryphon, Wukong |
| Clown Island | Buggy / Clown Masks | After Dark |
| Desert Island | Cat / Cat, Sand | Puthai |
| Skull Island | Moai / Rocks | DarkKatana, Busoshoku Haki |
| Wado Island | Pirates / Orb White | Wado Ichimonji |
| Graveyard Island | Zombies / Orb Black, Orb Dark | Shusui |
| Neo City | Cosplay Goku / Goku Manga | Otaku |
| City Island | Thug / Crowbars | Stylish Hangman |
| Marine Ford Island | Bacon Strong / Orb Purple | HeavenKatana |
| Skull Dragon Island | Dragon Man / Orb Dragon | Katana Dragon, Wing Chun V1 |
| Beach Island | Tani Man / Banana Stem | Muay Thai V1 and V2 |
| Hell Island | Demon Man / Orb Demon | Katana Gravity |
| Dojo Island | Bacon Rust, Noob / Rust Blade, Orb Yellow | DualKatana, Tanjiro V1 |
HeavenKatana on Marine Ford Island and the Otaku special from Neo City are both solid stopgaps if you want more power while still saving toward Yoru or a spec.

Diamonds, chests, and the Farmer Island economy
Diamonds are the second currency, and the Economy NPC on Starter Island runs minigames such as Russian Roulette and Ddakji that consume them. The Chest Gacha on the same counter costs 50 Diamonds for a single roll or 250 for five, with these odds.
| Chest reward | Chance |
|---|---|
| Random Item | 70% |
| Random DevilFruit | 18% |
| Random Item Event | 7% |
| Item Secret | 5% |
For a steady Diamond income, buy a Seeds Bag on Farmer Island for 10 Diamonds each, plant and water the vegetables, then sell the harvest back to the Economy NPC. It turns downtime into currency you can reinvest into crafting and gacha.

Event Island and pushing toward Sea 2
Event Island is where limited events run, and it hosts a long roster of NPCs including Cid Kagenou V2, Ryoumen Sukuna, Tanjiro V2, and Shikono. Rerun Island exists for event reruns if you missed something the first time. Leaving your character AFK on Event Island steadily raises your level, which softens the grind before you make the jump to Sea 2.
Boss Island lets you summon fights through the Summon Boss NPC. Vasto Hollow and Ghost Gojo both drop Orb Demon, while Phoenix Man and Spongebob drop Bananas, giving you another route to materials you already need.
Keep an eye out for the Rumble fruit as you open chests, since its stun ability makes crowd farming much easier. After Yoru, grinding toward Rayleigh or Shikono is the natural next step, and either one sets you up comfortably for everything Sea 1 throws at you before Sea 2.
