Silksong only reveals your completion percentage after you acquire and install a late‑game item called the Farsight. Use the steps below to get the Farsight in the Abyss (Act 3), assemble it in your Bellhart home, and then find the new progress readouts in your menus.
Requirements and quick notes
- Access to Act 3 and the Abyss. This is part of the main storyline progression.
- Traversal skills for a long vertical climb and a broad gap. Expect to use pogoing—downward strikes to bounce off enemies/objects—to cross sections safely.
- A Bellhart home (bellhome) to assemble the Farsight once you bring it back.

Assemble the Farsight in Bellhart

Where to view your progress (after assembly)
- Inventory: Shows your overall completion percentage.
- Crest: Lists tools you’ve collected so far, useful for item collection progress.
- Journal: Shows enemies you’ve encountered and which entries you’ve finished writing.
Tips and common questions
- Missed the pickup? You can return to the Abyss later; the Farsight isn’t missable.
- Having trouble with the chasm? Practice pogo timing on safe enemies, and bait floating foes into convenient positions before committing to long bounces.
- Why the percentage isn’t visible earlier: Silksong hides the metric until the Farsight is installed, so defeating a final boss alone won’t enable the display.
Once the Farsight is installed, you always have a clear picture of your overall and category progress—ideal for cleanup runs and planning 100% routes.
