A Toast to Heroes is a Wandering Tale in the Verdant Wilds that sends you chasing a caravan’s lost goods and two easy-to-miss barrels of wine. It looks fiddly because the items are tucked around a ruined fort, but the whole thing comes down to killing a knot of snakes and spotting two small red flasks on supply wagons.
Quick answer: Talk to the old man near the market road south of the ruined fort, kill the four snakes down the slope and return the lost item, then bring him two small red wine flasks — one from the bandit camp right of the fort entrance, one from the caravan by the southern river.
Where to start A Toast to Heroes
The quest begins in the Battlecrest Slope area of the Verdant Wilds. From the ruined fort, head south along the main road into the small village. An old man stands near the market road, and speaking to him starts the mission.
He explains that he lost some items from his caravan and asks you to get them back. That first task points you down the slope toward a group of snakes.
Kill the snakes and grab the lost item
Note: These snakes hit hard, and their poison stacks up fast if you are not over-leveled. Keep a healing flask or a cooked dish on hand, so you regenerate health after dropping their aggro. If your loadout allows it, a 3x combo with Leaping Toad can drop all four quickly, letting you loot in peace.
Find both wine flasks for the old man
After you return the item, the old man asks for wine as thanks. Meet him at the shrine at the front of the ruin, then track down two small barrels. You are looking for two very small, red flask-like objects sitting on the corners of supply wagons, so watch the carts closely rather than the ground.

How to confirm the quest is finished
With both wine flasks in your bag, return to the old man and hand them over. Delivering the pair completes the Wandering Tale and closes out the mission. If the tracker still shows the wine as incomplete, you are most likely missing the southern-river flask, since both wagons must be checked before he accepts the toast.
