Ready to Explore closes out the weekly challenges in the Horizon Decades Spring season of Forza Horizon 6, and it centers entirely on the 2016 Ariel Nomad. This lightweight off-roader, powered by a rear-mounted Honda 2.4L iVTEC engine, is the only car that counts toward every step, so you finish all four objectives in the same vehicle.
Quick answer: Buy the 2016 Ariel Nomad and drive it out of a garage, earn 6 stars at Trailblazers, land 2 Crash Landing skills, then win a Cross Country race in the Nomad. Completing all four rewards 25,000 Credits and 5 Forzathon points.
The four Ready to Explore objectives and rewards
The challenge runs in a set order, and each task must use the Ariel Nomad. Here is the full breakdown before the walkthrough.
| Objective | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Own and Drive | Acquire the 2016 Ariel Nomad and drive it out of a garage or the Horizon Festival site |
| Trailblazers | Earn 6 stars from Trailblazer events |
| Crash Landing | Earn 2 Crash Landing skills in the Nomad |
| Cross Country | Win a Cross Country race in the Nomad |
Clearing all four gives you 25,000 Credits plus 5 Forzathon points that go toward both your weekly and seasonal totals.

Earn 6 stars at Trailblazers
Each Trailblazer awards a maximum of 3 stars per run, so you either repeat one event twice or hit two different Trailblazers. The On Par Trailblazer, sitting west of the Ito Airfield, is a fast option.
There is a highway just south of the starting gate. Use it to build speed before you hit the opening straight across the golf field, which carries you to the finish line quickly. If you miss the 3-star mark on a run, restart and try again.
Tip: Apply the Ariel Nomad S1 800 (Forzathon) tuning with share code 693 740 202 for a stronger, more consistent run.

Land 2 Crash Landing skills
A Crash Landing skill chains a wreckage skill and an air-time skill within 1.5 seconds of each other. You need to pull this off twice while driving the Nomad.
The golf field from the Trailblazer step works well again. Use the uneven ground to catch air, then land straight into the small trees dotted around the course to trigger the wreckage. Two clean landings finish the objective.
Win a Cross Country race in the Nomad
The final task is a Cross Country win in the Ariel Nomad. The Tateyama Alpine Cross Country race, in the far north of the map, suits the car well on rough terrain.
The same S1 800 tuning from the Trailblazer step carries over here, giving you an edge over the Drivatars across the off-road sections. Take first place and the challenge marks complete, dropping the 25,000 Credits and 5 Forzathon points into your account.
With Spring in full swing and cherry blossoms across the map, the Nomad is a fitting car to wrap up the Horizon Decades playlist, and the exploration-heavy tasks reward you for driving well beyond the paved routes.
