Power is the stat that decides how far your bait flies with every cast in Be a Fish Bait, and Rebirth exists to keep that number climbing after normal training slows down. Each Rebirth raises the multiplier applied to the Power you earn while working out with your Weights, so later runs feel far faster than your first climb.
Quick answer: Open the Rebirth menu using the button on the right, confirm your current Power meets the listed threshold, then press Rebirth. Your Power resets to zero, the multiplier goes up, and every future training session grants more Power than before.

What Rebirth changes and what it leaves alone
Training with Weights starts at a 1x Power gain multiplier. Every Rebirth pushes that multiplier higher, so the same training session pays out a larger chunk of Power. That extra Power lets you cast past the low-rarity fishing zones and drop your bait straight into the high-rarity areas where the better catches live.
The trade-off is a single reset. Performing a Rebirth sends your Power level back to zero. It does not wipe your other stats or your funds, so your broader progress stays intact. Because the new multiplier is already active, rebuilding to your old Power ceiling takes far less time than it did the first time around.
| Element | Effect of a Rebirth |
|---|---|
| Power level | Resets to zero |
| Power gain multiplier | Increases by one step |
| Other stats | Unchanged |
| Funds | Unchanged |
How to perform a Rebirth
You know it worked when your Power drops to zero and the Rebirth count on the menu moves up one step. From there, the higher multiplier applies to everything you gain going forward.
The Rebirth cap and how fast you reach it
The maximum Rebirth level is 9. Getting there can take several hours of grinding, but you do not need to chase it aggressively. As long as you train regularly, the stacking multipliers pull you toward the cap on their own over time.
Rebirths are the main way to reach the highest possible Power stat and to keep your growth from flattening out. Whether the level 9 ceiling gets raised in a later update is not yet confirmed. For now, treat 9 as the goal and let routine training carry you there.
Note: Because each Rebirth only trims your Power and nothing else, there is little risk in pulling the trigger the moment you clear a threshold. The sooner the multiplier climbs, the sooner your bait clears the low-rarity water for good.
