Palworld 1.0: Every New Alpha Pal Location and Drops

Exact coordinates and loot for all 18 new Alpha Pals added across the outer isles, Sunreach, and the World Tree.

Exact coordinates and loot for all 18 new Alpha Pals added across the outer isles, Sunreach, and the World Tree.

The 1.0 update dropped more than 70 fresh Pals into Palworld, but only a small slice of them show up as Alphas. These oversized boss variants hand out far more experience, soak up more damage, and often drop rare schematics and crafting materials you can’t farm anywhere else. The catch is that most of them live in the far reaches of the map, so you’ll need to push through a big chunk of the main story before you can even reach them.

Quick answer: There are 18 new Alpha Pals in Palworld 1.0. Six sit on the outer Palpagos isles, seven are spread across the quest-gated Sunreach Islands, and five guard the endgame World Tree. Use the coordinates below to fly straight to each one.

Before you hunt: story gates and spawn shuffles

Two things matter before you set off. First, the new regions are locked behind quest progress. No amount of overleveling opens Sunreach or the World Tree early, so you have to finish the prerequisite story steps to fly there at all. Second, the 1.0 update reshuffled where bosses spawn across the map, so some new Alphas now sit in spots where older bosses used to appear. Starting a fresh save is the cleanest way to line up with the reworked layout.

Note: If a Pal isn’t standing at the exact coordinates, it’s almost always tucked inside a nearby Dungeon. Bring high-tier Pal Spheres for the late-game targets, since the new bosses have high base stats and poor catch rates on cheap spheres.

Alpha Pals on the outer Palpagos isles

This first cluster is scattered around the smaller islands and desert edges of the main map. Several of them are strong base workers, and the Dualith line in particular is one of the most flexible catches in the update thanks to its high-level Work Suitability.

Tetroise PrimoNeutralDungeon, Feybreak region (-1082, -1320)Emerald, Large Pal Soul, Neutral Radiant Gem, Ancient Relics

A few standouts here are worth chasing first. Prixter Lux swaps your attack type to Electric and adds 30% damage while it’s in your party. Tetroise raises the Work Suitability level of every other base Pal by one, while its Primo variant boosts equipment durability by 80% for the whole team, which is handy on long expeditions.

Alpha Pals on the Sunreach Islands

Sunreach is the floating sky region reached through the portal on top of the Feybreak Tower, and it holds the densest concentration of new Alphas. The islands tend to appear as soon as you arrive, so most of these bosses can be tracked down in a single trip once the area is open.

Ophydia is the best base pick of the group, sitting at Level 7 Planting suitability on top of being a capable fighter. Eidrolon and Dynamoff double as flying mounts, and Dynamoff also cuts egg incubation time by 20% while assigned to a base. Snock and Slowatt are a combo pairing rather than solo picks, since together they can make enemies discharge electricity that damages everything nearby.

Eidrolon is the one to prioritize for combat. It raises your Attack and Movement Speed by 2% for every other Dragon or Dark Pal in your party, so it rewards a themed team.

Alpha Pals at the World Tree

The World Tree is the endgame zone, and its Alphas are the highest-level newcomers in 1.0. Come in with strong gear and plenty of high-tier spheres, because these fights are unforgiving and the catch rates are punishing.

RenjishiFireWorld Tree (56, 838)Leather, Flame Organ, World Tree Holy Water, Fire Radiant Gem, Ancient Relics

Aegidron is the marquee catch here. It grants stun immunity and cuts damage from explosive attacks by 60%, making it one of the best defensive party members in the game. Renjishi imbues your hits with Burn and combos with Flaracle to convert that into area damage, while Celesdir Noct is a high-risk pick that drains its own Health to raise your damage by 40%. Moldron Cryst rounds things out as an Ice and Ground worker that boosts your Ice damage to enemy weak points by 25%.

How to make these fights easier

Alpha bosses take a chunk out of the day. Each one respawns the following morning after you defeat or capture it, so you can farm their drops on a daily loop. Stock the right tools before you go so a run doesn’t fizzle at the last HP sliver.

  • Bring high-tier Pal Spheres for every Sunreach and World Tree target, since cheap spheres barely dent their catch rate.
  • Turn in Pal Effigies to raise Capture Power before a hunting trip.
  • Use Frozen status to tilt tough catches in your favor. Muffly’s Partner Skill raises capture rate against Frozen targets.
  • Match your party to each boss’s weakness. Water Pals for Fire bosses, and so on.

Once you’ve cleared these 18, you’ll have covered every new Alpha in Palworld 1.0. Between the flying mounts, the Level 7 and 8 workers, and the steady stream of Radiant Gems and Ancient Relics from the World Tree bosses, the outer isles and sky regions are worth revisiting daily as you push toward the level cap.
