Floor 4 in The Hollow, the Roblox Presents Halloween event experience, is reached from the same lobby elevator as every other floor. When you arrive, the camera changes to first person, and a single doorway leads out of the safe room into the maze.

Quick answer: Press 4 on the lobby elevator panel. Floor 4 plays in first person, and the maze starts through the purple sparkle doorway in the safe room.

How to get to Floor 4 from the cinema lobby

From the cinema lobby, walk down the long carpet hall to the elevator at the far end. The route matches the one for reaching the elevator for Floor 1.
Walk into the elevator to open its button panel. As of 28 October, buttons 1 to 6 are open and 7, 8 and 9 are covered with red tape. An Exit button sits underneath.

Press 4. The ride starts immediately.
Advance the narration displayed along the screen’s lower edge; the lines run in this sequence:
  • “There you are! I had the strangest dream. You were in it, actually.”
  • “I was searching for someone. I don’t remember what they look like, but…”
  • “I remember them from somewhere.”
  • “You know, I don’t remember this place being quite so… deep. Or so dark, for that matter.”

You know you made it when a “Floor 4” title appears at the top of the screen. You’ll be facing a doorway full of drifting purple sparkles. The view is first person, and “M Free mouse” appears at the bottom left.

What’s in the Floor 4 safe room

The safe room is a dark, carpeted space. Most of what’s in it is decoration, but two things matter: the board and the doorway.

  • Wall lamps, orange glowing poster frames, and a bin line the room.
  • The elevator car stands behind you: a small, well-lit room with a panel framed in white on its back wall.
  • A HOW TO PLAY board stands by rope posts.
  • A gold canopy arches over the sparkling doorway, with a curved line of small lights. Orange-framed posters flank the entrance.

The HOW TO PLAY board has the same four panels as the other floors. Read in order, they spell out the whole run: “Enter the maze and find the puzzle room.” / “Complete the puzzle, claim the relic.” / “Bring it back. Avoid the entity at all costs.” / “Claim your daily reward.”

Entering the Floor 4 maze

The sparkle doorway is the way into the maze. Walk straight through it from the safe room.

Past the doorway, the halls are dark. They have panelled walls, wall lamps, and a lit doorway farther down one side. Looking back, the arc of lights over the sparkle doorway marks the way to the safe room.

Going back to the lobby from Floor 4

Walk from the safe room back into the elevator car to leave. It will take you directly to the cinema lobby, as it does on Floor 5. From there, walk back into the lobby elevator to pick another open floor.

On our ride we did not find the puzzle room, and no entity came near us. Other players’ guides describe the puzzle like this, so treat each point as a report:

  • Floor 4 is reported to be themed on 99 Nights in the Forest, with The Deer as its chaser.
  • The puzzle room is said to spawn in a random spot as the maze changes. One report found it near the centre: a big hall with four red benches, black belt barriers and a queue area.
  • Inside, the report says to turn left at the first turn. A small green zombie stands in front of lasers that guard a platform of glass tiles.
  • Walk up to the lasers and the zombie reportedly hops across, lighting up each tile it steps on. That is your safe path. It is said to differ per player, at about 19 steps with two or three per row. Walk the same tiles to the far end for the Fourth Night Relic.
  • If The Deer catches you while you carry the relic, you reportedly have to solve it again. Bringing it back to the elevator is said to give Boo & Bub, a shoulder accessory you equip from the Avatar Editor, plus a badge.
  • Floor 4 is also reported to hide a secret room that teleports you to Home Alone.
