Fisch: How to Complete the Olympian Godbreaker Rod Mastery

Every quest objective, unlock condition, and reward you need to earn the Olympian Ascension skin.

Every quest objective, unlock condition, and reward you need to earn the Olympian Ascension skin.

The Olympian Godbreaker Rod Mastery is a set of five quests tied to the Stage 10 Olympian Godbreaker rod. Finishing all of them grants passive enhancements to the rod and, as the grand prize, the Olympian Ascension skin. The mastery track opens once you meet a fixed level requirement, and each quest asks you to catch fish under a specific condition.

Quick answer: Reach level 1000 while holding the Olympian Godbreaker, then clear all five mastery quests to unlock the Olympian Ascension skin.

Requirements before the mastery unlocks

You need the Olympian Godbreaker itself before any mastery quest becomes available. The rod costs 50,000,000 C$ and requires character level 981 to purchase. A portal to Olympian Fissure opens after anyone on the server catches an Olympian Devil, and buying the rod also demands 100% completion of the Bellona’s Frenzy of War, Apollo’s Song of Light, Poseidon’s Storm of Floods, Zeus’s Thunder of Chaos, Hades’ Underworld of Indefinite, and Olympian Fissure bestiaries.

Once you own the rod, the mastery track starts at level 1000. Every quest below must be completed using the Olympian Godbreaker, so keep it equipped for all catches that count toward progress.

All five Olympian Godbreaker mastery quests and rewards

Each quest has its own environmental condition. Four ask for 196 catches, while the Bellona quest asks for 197 Perfect Catches. The rewards stack Olympian chance and layer on top of the rod’s Starcaller Cry and Gravity Pull mechanics.

War Against BellonaPerfect Catch 197 fish during War Surge+2% Olympian chance and +3% Progress from Gravity Pull
Apollo’s AppealCatch 196 fish in Light Beams+2% Olympian chance and -0.15 → 0.0981 Control during Starcaller Cry

How to satisfy each quest condition

War Against Bellona: This is the only quest that counts Perfect Catches instead of ordinary catches, and it must be done during War Surge. A missed Perfect Catch does not advance the 197 total, so aim for clean captures every time the event is active.

Apollo’s Appeal: Fish inside Light Beams for these 196 catches. Any fish reeled in while your line sits in a Light Beam moves the counter forward.

Poseidon’s Pantheon: You can complete this either during a Storm Flood or by fishing inside Poseidon’s Whirlpools. Both locations count toward the same 196 total, so use whichever appears first.

Zeus! Your Child has returned!: Catches only count in Fully-Charged Water Bodies. Wait for a water body to reach full charge before reeling to make sure the 196 fish register.

Hades’ Hatred: Three settings qualify here. Soul Pools, Wisp Haunts, and the Soul Scourge event all count, giving you several ways to reach 196 catches.

Grand reward: Olympian Ascension skin

Completing all five quests unlocks the Olympian Ascension skin, the mastery grand reward for this rod. It is the gold-tier cosmetic that marks a fully finished mastery track, and it cannot be bought with Robux. The skin is a nod to the Blades of Chaos from the God of War series.

You will know a quest is done when its counter fills, and the mastery menu marks it complete, releasing its passive enhancement to the rod. Once all five show as finished, the Olympian Ascension skin is added to the rod’s available skins and the grand reward is claimed.

Note: The mastery track, the level 1000 requirement, and the Olympian Ascension skin were introduced in Version 1.92.0, the same update that added the level 981 gate for buying the rod.
