GAKURAN (Roblox): How to Get Custom Clothes

Custom gang outfits run through the Discord, while normal wardrobe changes live in the in-game Clothes reroll.

Custom gang outfits run through the Discord, while normal wardrobe changes live in the in-game Clothes reroll.

Clothing in GAKURAN splits into two separate systems, and mixing them up is why so many players hunt for a shop NPC that never appears. Custom outfits come from Discord gangs that hand uniforms to members. Everyday wardrobe changes come from the in-game Clothes slot. Knowing which one you actually want decides where you go next.

Quick answer: For custom gang clothing, join the official GAKURAN Discord, find a gang whose recruitment post says it offers custom clothing, meet its requirements, and use its outfit in-game. For a normal outfit swap, open Stats and reroll the Clothes slot.

The two clothing systems in GAKURAN

Custom clothes and a regular outfit change are not the same thing. Gang outfits are tied to groups that recruit through the official Discord. The in-game Clothes option rerolls your standard student outfit. On top of those, jobs and the Roblox catalog add extra looks that sit outside both systems.

Clothing typeHow you get it
Custom gang clothingJoin a Discord gang that provides member outfits, then use that outfit in-game.
Clothes rerollUse the Clothes slot in the Stats menu to reroll your normal outfit.
Work uniformsTake a job, such as club or coffee place work, for a job-related clothing set.
Avatar Shop outfitsBuy Roblox catalog clothing for your global avatar; this does not change the internal Clothes roll.

Note: A Roblox catalog uniform can make your avatar look like a student, but it stays separate from the outfit GAKURAN gives your character through its own clothing system.

Get custom clothes through Discord gangs

Custom outfits live in the game’s Discord gang scene, so head there rather than looking for a clothing store inside the game. Recruitment posts that come with a uniform usually say so plainly, since the outfit is one of the main reasons players join.

Open the official GAKURAN Discord where gangs recruit new members.
Go to the RP server advertisement or gang advertisement channel and read the recruitment posts.
Focus on gangs that clearly mention custom clothing or custom clothes in their post. Groups that provide outfits typically state it directly, often with an attached image showing the uniform.
Read the gang’s rules, activity expectations, and any entry conditions before you apply.
Follow the joining process only if you meet the requirements.
Once you are accepted, wear the gang’s custom outfit in GAKURAN. You will know it worked when your character appears in the gang uniform in-game rather than your default student look.

Change your normal outfit with the Clothes reroll

Regular wardrobe changes happen through character customization, not Discord. In the Stats menu, Clothes is its own cosmetic slot and is kept apart from Style, which controls your combat discipline.

Open the Stats menu from the in-game HUD.
On the first page, review your character identity fields such as Gender, Age, Height, and Ethnicity if you are still setting up.
Move to the second page. Keep Style separate from clothing; Style covers combat disciplines such as Boxing, Muay Thai, or Hakari.
Use the Clothes slot to reroll your outfit. This is a reroll system, so it changes the outfit at random rather than letting you pick exact shirts and pants one by one.
Walk around town in daylight to check how the jacket or uniform actually reads before you settle on it.

Style rerolls cost 5 Robux each. The Clothes reroll uses its own Robux prompt, and that price is not fixed at one consistent number, so read the purchase prompt before you accept it.

Free rerolls from codes

If you want more attempts at the Clothes slot without spending Robux, the Codes menu hands out rerolls. Open the menu from the left-side arrow and find the Codes button near the bottom.

CodeReward
15REROLLS10 rerolls
GAKURAN10 rerolls

Together, those two codes give 20 rerolls. They provide reroll attempts, not direct custom outfits, so use them to spin the Clothes or Style slots rather than expecting a gang uniform.

Work uniforms and Avatar Shop looks

A few clothing-style changes sit outside the standard Clothes reroll. Jobs can give you a work uniform, and Roblox catalog items can dress your account in a gakuran-style look before you even load in.

OptionWhat it changes
Club or coffee place work uniformsYour job-related clothing set while working those locations.
Roblox Avatar Shop school uniformsYour global Roblox avatar, including gakuran-style shirts and pants.
Head gear and accessoriesOther vanity slots such as head gear or headphones, not the main Clothes roll.

Avatar Shop outfits help if you want your Roblox avatar to look like a uniformed student, but they are not GAKURAN custom clothes. They affect the account-wide avatar, not the game’s internal Clothes slot or a gang uniform.

Mistakes to avoid

The most common error is waiting for a normal clothing store that the game does not use. For custom outfits, go to the Discord gangs. For a regular outfit swap, use the Stats menu’s Clothes reroll.

  • Do not join a gang just because its outfit looks good without first reading the requirements.
  • Do not expect the Clothes reroll to let you choose exact shirts and pants; it only rerolls.
  • Do not treat a Roblox catalog uniform as the same thing as an in-game gang outfit.

Sort out which look you are after and the path is straightforward. Discord gangs cover custom uniforms, the Clothes slot handles your everyday student outfit, and codes keep the reroll attempts topped up while you settle on a fit.
