All Bosses and Mythic Weapons in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3

Where Voidblade, Skeletor, and Wolfe spawn, how to beat each one, and the exact loot they drop.

Where Voidblade, Skeletor, and Wolfe spawn, how to beat each one, and the exact loot they drop.

Three bosses roam the Shattered Coast in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3, and each one guards a Mythic weapon worth chasing. Voidblade, Skeletor, and Wolfe all share the same pool of spawn points, so the fight you get depends on where you land and a little luck. Beat one, and you can walk away with a Mythic or Legendary version of its signature gun plus a Chug Jug.

Quick answer: Wait for the first storm circle to close, then listen for the boss spawn sound and watch for the red skull icon that appears on your mini-map when you get within about 200 meters. Kill the boss and grab the weapon it drops to secure the Mythic.

How and when bosses spawn

None of the three bosses appears in a fixed spot. They pull from a shared list of possible locations, and their spawn only triggers once the first storm circle finishes closing. When one spawns, you will hear an audio cue nearby.

The red skull marker shows up on the mini-map, not the full map, so you have to get close to spot it. Because the pool rotates between matches, you might land expecting Skeletor and run into Wolfe instead. If you want to hunt one down fast, land somewhere central like The Battlewoods, grab a car, and drive the possible sites while watching the mini-map edge for that skull.

The bosses do not attack the moment they see you. They take a beat before turning hostile, but firing first will make them defend themselves immediately.

Possible boss locations

  • North of Heatwave Harbor
  • Collider Corridor, north of Calamari Canyon
  • Northeast of Calamari Canyon, near an Extractor Point
  • Among the trees north of Calamari Canyon
  • East of the snowy stretch between The Battlewoods and Wonkeeland
  • Snowy area southwest of Latte Landing
  • West of The Battlewoods
  • Near the trees where The Battlewoods meets Zero Point
  • At the Extraction Site west of Golden Grove

Every boss and the Mythic weapon it drops

Each boss drops its own weapon alongside a Chug Jug and a Boss Sprite. Whether the gun comes out Mythic or Legendary is down to RNG, so a defeat does not guarantee the Mythic tier every time.

Voidblade: keep moving and punish the dive

Voidblade is a fast close-range fighter who mixes sword strikes with high jumps and aerial dive attacks. The dangerous part is the dive-bomb she launches from overhead, which can land a headshot if you stand still. Slide or sprint sideways to stay a hard target.

An SMG handles her close pressure, while a Chaos Exploder assault rifle gives you a reliable answer while she is airborne. Stock heals and builds before you engage, because the fight can drag on if she keeps getting air. On defeat, she drops Voidblade’s Burst Rifle and a Chug Jug.

Skeletor: out-damage his shield regen

Skeletor is the tank of the group. He regenerates his shields whenever his health drops, so any pause on your end lets him claw back progress and reset the fight. His shotgun hits hard up close, and a headshot from it can be brutal.

The counter is steady, high-damage output that overwhelms his recovery before it kicks in. A burst assault rifle or an SMG keeps consistent pressure on him. Stay off his shotgun range and do not give him breathing room. He drops the Reacher Extending Shotgun, which behaves like a standard combat shotgun but with a notable damage boost and more range than most shotguns, plus a Chug Jug.

Wolfe is the most disorienting boss this season. He moves faster than the other two and can essentially teleport short distances, often reappearing right behind you for a surprise shot. He also has a howl that reveals your position to nearby players, though the radius is small enough to be more of a nuisance than a real threat.

Your mobility matters as much as your aim. Keep sliding and sprinting, and use Seven Sliders if you have them to match his speed. A shotgun and SMG combo works well for reacting to his sudden appearances. Stay calm when he blinks away, reposition quickly, and punish him the instant he reappears. He drops the Maven Auto Shotgun and a Chug Jug.

Confirming the kill and the drop

You know a boss is down when the elimination banner appears with its name and a boss XP reward. The loot spills onto the ground at that spot, so walk over and swap your current weapon for the drop. Check the rarity color before you pick it up. A gold Mythic tier is the best-case result, and a Legendary is the fallback if RNG does not favor you.

More bosses may arrive in later updates, but for now these three are the ones holding the season’s Mythic weapons. Land near a likely spawn, wait out the first circle, and follow the skull to lock in your gun of choice.
