The Chestnut Glyptodon is a new Rare-tier pet in Adopt Me tied to Week 4 of the Summer Camp event. It arrives on July 18, 2026 as part of the Bonus Acorn Weekend update, and how you get it depends entirely on how the admin vote goes.

Quick answer: Vote for Jesse at the Admin voting kiosk on Adoption Island during Week 4 of the Summer Camp event. If Jesse wins the most votes on July 18, 2026, every player who voted for him receives the Chestnut Glyptodon for free. If Jesse loses, you can still buy it from the Wagon for 20,000 Acorns.

What the Chestnut Glyptodon looks like and its rarity

The Chestnut Glyptodon is a Rare pet with a turtle-like build. It has a bright lime-green, spike-covered shell, a light brown body, round black eyes, and a small pink tongue poking out. It is a limited pet linked to the Summer Camp Event (2026), so it will only be available around the event window.

It shares a name with the older Glyptodon, an Uncommon pet from the Fossil Egg, but this is a separate, redesigned pet. The two are not the same and should not be confused when trading or checking the Journal.

Two ways to get the Chestnut Glyptodon

There are exactly two routes. The free route depends on the vote result, while the paid route only opens if Jesse loses.

Method 1: Vote for Jesse (free)

Load into Adopt Me and head to the center of Adoption Island. You will find the Admin voting kiosk there, with both admins standing nearby.
Interact with Jesse’s side of the stand and cast your vote for him. His pet on display is the green, spiky glyptodon-style creature. After voting, you also receive 3,000 Acorns as a reward.
Stay in the game until the results are announced on July 18, 2026. If Jesse receives the most Admin Votes for Week 4, the Chestnut Glyptodon is handed out for free to players who backed him.

Method 2: Buy it from the Wagon (20,000 Acorns)

If Jesse loses the admin vote, the pet is not lost. The Chestnut Glyptodon becomes available for purchase at the Wagon for 20,000 Acorns. This is the fallback path, so keep a stock of Acorns saved in case the vote does not go Jesse’s way.

How to confirm you got the pet

After the vote result is announced, open your inventory or Journal and search for “Glyptodon.” A free-awarded pet appears in your pet inventory once results are finalized, and a Wagon purchase deducts the 20,000 Acorns and adds the pet immediately.

If the pet does not show up in the Journal right away, rejoin a fresh server and check again. New event pets can be temporarily hidden or bugged in a single laggy server before appearing correctly elsewhere.

Neon and Mega Neon forms

Like other Adopt Me pets, four full-grown Chestnut Glyptodons combine into a Neon, and four full-grown Neons combine into a Mega Neon. The glow effects are what make this pet stand out at higher tiers.

FormAppearance
RegularLime-green spiky shell, light brown body, black eyes, small pink tongue
NeonGlowing green shell that splits open to reveal a glowing pink interior, plus glowing cheek dots and markings
Mega NeonShifting rainbow glow across the highlighted areas

Trading the Chestnut Glyptodon

The Chestnut Glyptodon is a limited Rare pet, which makes it appealing to collectors once the event ends and supply stops growing. If you want long-term value, focus on building a Neon or Mega Neon version early while copies are still common.

New event pets tend to be overvalued during the first hours of release, then settle once players realize how many copies exist. Avoid overpaying on day one and compare it against other recent Summer Camp pets rather than older rares before agreeing to any trade.

Whether you take the free route or the Wagon route, the deciding factor is the Week 4 admin vote on July 18, 2026. Vote for Jesse early, claim your 3,000 Acorns for participating, and keep 20,000 Acorns in reserve so you are covered no matter which way the result lands.
