Fisch Fischfest Waterpark: How to Fix the Park and Get Every Floatie

Unclog the pipes with perfect catches, claim 1,500 Sunshells, and reel in the missing floaties.

Unclog the pipes with perfect catches, claim 1,500 Sunshells, and reel in the missing floaties.

The Fischfest Waterpark is a limited-time point of interest that arrived with the Roaming Fish update in Fisch. It sits across from the main Fischfest 2 Island and comes with slides, pools, and a lazy river that only work after you repair the park. Once it is running, you can help three NPCs recover their lost floaties and pick up a batch of new bestiary catches.

Quick answer: Talk to Waterpark Wade, then land 5 perfect catches at each of the three water spots (the slides, the pool, and the lazy river). Test the slides afterward to bank 1,500 Sunshells, then fish the pool during Summer to pull the Crab, Dumbo Octopus, and Pufferfish floaties for Milo, Ryder, and Drew.

Where to find the Fischfest Waterpark

The Waterpark is located next to the main Fischfest 2 Island. Use your Magical Conch to travel to the island first, then equip your boat and head toward the GPS coordinates -23817, 2597, -3723. Waterpark Wade stands in the center of the park and starts the repair questline.

How to fix the Waterpark and clear the clogged pipes

Wade asks you to unclog the tubes so water can flow back into the pools. The requirement is 5 perfect catches at each of the three fishing spots inside the park. The quest tracker lists these as the slides, the pool, and the lazy river.

Speak to Waterpark Wade in the center of the park to open the Clogged Pipes quest. He will confirm that each of the three spots needs five catches.

Fish the smaller pool between the central pool and the outer edge, then the empty pool directly behind Wade. These count toward the pool and slide portions of the quest.
Move to the yellow tube under the central slide at GPS -23892, 2642, -3362 and fish there, then cast into the flowing lazy river to finish the third spot.
After all five catches land at each location, the water starts flowing, and the park becomes functional. Wade then asks you to test the rides, so jump in and ride the slides to close out the quest.

You know it worked when the quest tracker fills to 5/5 at every spot, and the water fills the pools. Completing the ride test rewards you with 1,500 Sunshells, the event currency you can spend at the Sunshell Merchant.

How to get the Milo, Ryder, and Drew floaties

Once the pools are full, Milo, Ryder, and Drew appear around the park after losing their floaties in the rush of water. Each one wants a specific floatie fished out of the pool. All three are Summer catches and do not require a particular bait, weather, or time of day.

Crab FloatieSummerNone required
Dumbo Octopus FloatieSummerNone required
Pufferfish FloatieSummerNone required

Fish the Waterpark pools to reel these in and return them to the matching NPC. The floaties are a rarer catch, so expect to cast several times before one hooks.

New bestiary catches at the Waterpark

The Waterpark also adds 8 new Fischfest bestiary entries, all found within the park itself. Alongside the floaties, catches such as the Pool Noodle Eel appear in the lazy river and pools. These are limited to the event, so complete the set before Fischfest 2 ends.

Redeem the Roaming Fish update code

The update that opened the Waterpark shipped with an active code. Enter RoamingFishAndWaterPark in the game’s code menu to claim the reward. The update also runs a Double XP Weekend, which is a good window to push levels and finish any remaining event quests before they rotate out.

Since the Waterpark and its floaties are tied to the Summer Fischfest window, wrap up Wade’s repair quest, the floatie returns, and the new bestiary catches while the event is live. Once Fischfest 2 closes, the park and its exclusive catches leave with it.
