Inspector is the role that decides who crosses the border in passport plz, the border roleplay game run by The Revolutionary Computer Union. You do not get it by clicking a button in the game. The rank is handed out through The Computer Union community on Discord, and the process now runs entirely through a tryout rather than the older passport submission format.
Quick answer: Join the required Roblox groups and the Computer Union Discord, verify your account with RoVER, then wait for an inspector tryout to open and pass it. You start as a trial inspector before becoming a full inspector.

Requirements before you apply
Meet every item below first. Missing groups or an account that looks too new is the fastest way to get turned away, since checks are partly there to stop alt accounts.
| Requirement | Detail |
|---|---|
| Roblox account age | At least 150 days old for admission; over 37 days old to take the in-game screenshots |
| Roblox groups | Join [TCU] The Computer Union and The Glorious Robot Army, and request to join TCU Inspector Corp |
| Discord account | Must exist with a birthdate set to 13+ years ago, or RoVER will not verify you |
| Discord server | Join The Computer Union server and verify in the #verify channel |
Note: if you are under 13, do not join the Discord server. Verification links your Roblox account through RoVER and confirms your account age.

Prepare your passport and guard screenshots
You will still need in-game proof to show that you belong in the community and understand the border flow. Take these while you wait for a tryout.

Pass the inspector tryout
After recent Computer Union updates, the entry route changed. Once you are verified on the Discord, you have to wait for an inspector tryout to be announced. You cannot skip this or submit a passport form to jump the queue anymore.
While you wait, join other tryouts and trainings when they run. Doing so keeps you active in the community and can put you in as a trial inspector, which is the step before full inspector.
You know it worked when you pass the tryout and are granted the inspector role in the community. Trial inspector comes first, and full inspector follows from there.
Common reasons applicants get denied
Whoever reviews you can deny you outright for the mistakes below. Most are easy to avoid once you know them.
- Missing the passport screenshot.
- No proof of being in the Robot Army or Computer Union groups.
- Wrong format or missing sections in your submission.
- Talking, sending gifs, or being disruptive in the border admission channel.
- Roblox or display name that does not match, or a gender that does not match your avatar and passport.
- An entry reason that is not in English, not logical, or not possible in the game.
You may also face a background check. That can cover your Discord and Roblox profile picture, avatar, name and bio, plus your group list, badges, friends, and activity statistics. Being in several groups and holding a few badges helps you avoid looking like an alt, and you do not need to spend Robux to manage that. If an inspector asks, unprivate your inventory so it can be reviewed.
Get the groups, verification, and screenshots sorted early, keep your profile clean, and the only thing left is showing up for a tryout and passing it. That is the current path to inspector in passport plz.
