Palworld Bellanoir Raid: How to Summon, Beat, and Hatch the Boss

Everything needed to trigger the Dark-type raid, clear the 10-minute fight, and turn the egg reward into a Medicine worker.

Everything needed to trigger the Dark-type raid, clear the 10-minute fight, and turn the egg reward into a Medicine worker.

Bellanoir is a Dark-type raid boss that does not roam the map. You summon it directly onto your base with a crafted slab, survive a punishing 10-minute fight, and claim a Huge Dark Egg that hatches into Bellanoir itself. Because the boss cannot be captured mid-fight, the egg is the only way it joins your roster, which is why the whole loop is worth running for anyone chasing a top-tier Medicine Production Pal.

Quick answer: Craft a Bellanoir Slab from 4x Bellanoir’s Slab Fragment at a Summoning Altar, place it in the altar at a base while you are at least Level 45, then defeat the Level 30 boss and its 294,000 HP within the 10-minute timer to receive the Huge Dark Egg.

What you need before summoning Bellanoir

The raid is gated behind two unlocks and a farming step. You need the Summoning Altar built, the slab crafted from fragments, and enough character level to activate the altar. Fragments are not guaranteed drops, so plan for several dungeon runs to gather a full set.

RequirementDetail
Summoning AltarUnlocks at Level 33 in the Technology Tree; costs 100x Stone and 20x Paldium Fragment
Bellanoir SlabCrafted from 4x Bellanoir’s Slab Fragment
Character level to summonLevel 45 minimum to activate the slab at the altar
PlacementAltar must sit inside a base

Bellanoir’s Slab Fragments appear in treasure chests inside high-level dungeons. Prioritize the caves below and open every chest before you leave.

  • Ravine Grotto
  • Mountain Stream Grotto
  • Cavern of the Dunes
  • Volcanic Cavern
  • Sacred Mountain Cavern

Tip: Build a dedicated raid base and put the altar there instead of your main headquarters. When Bellanoir spawns it immediately attacks structures and Pals, so a throwaway base keeps your storage and production lines safe.

How to summon Bellanoir

Reach Level 33, unlock the Summoning Altar in the Technology Tree, and build it with 100x Stone and 20x Paldium Fragment inside the base where you want the fight to happen.
Farm the five dungeons above until you have 4x Bellanoir’s Slab Fragment, then craft the Bellanoir Slab.
Make sure you are at least Level 45, interact with the altar, and place the slab to start the raid. The fight begins instantly with no countdown, so have your combat Pals, weapons, and healing items ready beforehand.

You know it worked when Bellanoir materializes inside the base perimeter and the 10-minute on-screen timer appears. If the altar will not accept the slab, you are below Level 45; if the option to build the altar is missing, you have not unlocked it at Level 33 yet.

Bellanoir fight stats and the 10-minute timer

Bellanoir is a Level 30 Dark-type Alpha Pal with a maximum health pool of 294,000. It leans on heavy burst damage, wide area-of-effect attacks, and aggressive spell casting that can wreck base structures. Pal Spheres do nothing here because the boss cannot be caught during the raid, so every second goes toward damage and survival.

Boss level30 (Alpha)
Maximum HP294,000
Timer10 minutes; raid fails at zero
Capturable in raidNo

Spread your defensive Pals out rather than clustering them, keep ranged attackers behind cover, and stay mobile to avoid the area-of-effect spam. Melee-heavy teams tend to take far more casualties during those phases.

Best Dragon-type Pals for the raid

Dragon deals extra damage to Dark, so Dragon-type Pals are the general answer for shortening the fight. The strongest picks either raise your Dragon damage, bring a heavy Dragon move, or keep you out of danger zones.

PalWhy it helps
JetragonFastest flying mount for dodging danger zones; Aerial Missile fires a heavy barrage
ChilletWriggling Weasel converts your damage to Dragon while mounted and boosts base attack
QuivernSky Dragon’s Affections raises Dragon damage; also has Acid Rain and Dragon Meteor
Jormuntide IgnisDismount and let it cast Dragon Meteor, a 150-power Dragon attack
RelaxaurusOften built early; Hungry Missile removes a large chunk of HP when supported

For the remaining party slots, stack Gobfins. Their Angry Shark skill passively raises your attack even while they sit on the bench, and the bonus stacks across multiple Gobfins for a large overall damage increase. Run one Dragon as your active attacker and fill out the rest with Gobfins.

Bellanoir raid rewards and hatching the Huge Dark Egg

Clearing the raid before the timer expires drops a fixed set of endgame rewards. The Huge Dark Egg is the important one, since incubating it is the only way to add Bellanoir to your team.

  • 1x Ancient Civilization Core
  • 1x Multiclimate Undershirt +1
  • 1x Training Manual (XL)
  • 1x Training Crystal
  • 1x Huge Dark Egg (Bellanoir)

Place the Huge Dark Egg in an incubator and wait for it to hatch. Once it does, Bellanoir officially joins your roster as Paldeck entry 112. Its Partner Skill, Nightmare Iris, strikes a targeted enemy with a powerful Nightmare Ray.

Bellanoir as a Medicine Production worker

Beyond combat, the reason to farm Bellanoir is its base work profile. It carries Medicine Lv. 4 alongside Handiwork Lv. 2 and Transporting Lv. 2, which makes it one of the strongest picks for the Medicine Production station. Its variant, Bellanoir Libero, matches it at the top of that job, so either version anchors a medicine setup that keeps healing items flowing.

To push its Medicine output higher, keep spare Bellanoir eggs and feed the extra copies into the Pal Essence Condenser. Star-ranking raises its work levels, and locking it onto the Medicine station with a Monitoring Stand stops it wandering to other tasks. Note that Bellanoir is a weak fighter and mount, so treat it purely as a production worker once it is hatched and settled at the bench.
