Two Power Hour sessions on July 25 boost Batman, Pollo, Seven, and Air Sprite spawns, with big heads and free Self-Revives for everyone.

Shinier Hours is the Chapter 7 Season 3 Power Hour running on Saturday, July 25, and it is built around catching rare Sprite variants. During the event, the map fills with more Batman, Pollo, Seven, and Air Sprites, chests are far more likely to hold Sprites, and every player drops in with a big head and a Self-Revive Device.

Quick answer: Play during either session on July 25 — 2 PM to 4 PM ET or 9 PM to 11 PM ET — to hit boosted spawn rates for Batman, Pollo, Seven, and Air Sprites, plus a doubled chance of finding Sprites in regular chests.

Shinier Hours session times by region

There are two identical sessions on July 25, each lasting two hours. That gives you four total hours to farm Sprites, but you only need to join one session since the same bonuses and boosted rates apply to both. The times below cover both windows.

Rules and gameplay changes during Shinier Hours

The event changes both how matches play and how often Sprites appear. Everyone starts with a big head, which makes headshots easier to land and easier to take, so keep moving. Every player also drops in holding a Self-Revive Device.

  • Everyone has big heads and starts with a Self-Revive Device.
  • Batman, Pollo, Seven, and Air Sprites spawn far more often.
  • Gold, Gummy, Galaxy, and Holofoil variants appear more often than in the previous weekend’s event, with an extra boost for the four Sprites above.
  • You are twice as likely to find a Sprite inside a regular chest.

The rare Pollo Sprite is the headline pull here. It was previously obtainable only through trading with other players, so the boosted spawn rate makes this one of the best chances yet to extract one yourself.

You can technically find any released Sprite during the event, but four get greatly increased spawn rates. Batman, Seven, and Air each cover the full set of rare variants, while Pollo appears in its Mythic form.

What is not included

Despite Cube Sprites recently arriving in the game, they are left out of this Power Hour. The focus stays on Batman, Seven, Air, and Pollo, along with higher rates for Gold, Gummy, Galaxy, and Holofoil variants. That makes Shinier Hours a strong window to fill gaps in your collection from earlier events rather than chase the newest rarity.

You will know the event is live when big heads and the boosted spawns kick in at the start of each session. If you miss the afternoon window, the evening session offers the same bonuses, so there is no need to catch both.
