Meccha Chameleon: How to Use the New Poses (June 2026 Update)

Everything you need to activate the latest pose wheel, plus the poses worth learning for tricky hiding spots.

Everything you need to activate the latest pose wheel, plus the poses worth learning for tricky hiding spots.

The hide-and-seek party game Meccha Chameleon added a fresh batch of body poses on June 23, giving the white blob character more ways to twist, lean, and fold into the scenery. Poses are not just for show. The right stance can smooth out your silhouette and let you blend against surfaces that would otherwise leave you exposed.

Quick answer: Hold the R key to open the pose wheel, then right-click or left-click to flip to the second wheel. Move your mouse over the pose you want, wait until it turns blue, and release R to lock it in.

How to activate the new poses

Hold the R key. This brings up the radial pose wheel on screen so you can browse the available stances.
Right-click or left-click to switch to the second pose wheel. The newest poses live here alongside the original set, so cycle through both wheels to find the one you need.
Move your mouse toward the pose you want. When that option highlights in blue, let go of the R key. Your character immediately drops into the selected pose, which confirms it worked.

The new poses added in the update

The update introduced 11 new stances across the pose wheels. Some are wide and dramatic, others tuck your limbs in tight so the model reads as a single smooth shape. Here is how they break down, with the maps where each tends to shine.

PoseWhat it does
Curl-UpTurns your back to the camera so only the back and rear show, hiding the limbs entirely
BackbendArches over the top of objects without fully burying the body
SlantedHolds an angled stance so you can cling to ladders and roofs instead of only flat surfaces
One-Arm LeanRests weight on a single arm for props against walls
SquatA low, compact crouch
Cross-LeggedA seated stance for flat, open ground
One LegA single-leg balance for narrow perches
T-PoseArms fully outstretched
SplitLegs spread wide across a surface
BendA forward fold at the waist

Best new poses for hiding spots

Three of the new stances stand out for scoring points and staying hidden longer.

Curl-Up

When your character faces away, the curl-up leaves only the back and rear visible, so no arms or legs break up the shape. It fits smooth, rounded surroundings well and pairs nicely with the Indoor Country map.

Backbend

The backbend drapes your body over the top of objects without tucking it out of sight completely. It works for perching on raised items in maps like Sugarland and the Backrooms.

Slanted

The slanted pose solves the “floating starfish” problem you get when trying to cling to a ladder or roof. Instead of being stuck flat on the ground, you can match angled surfaces, which makes it a strong pick for the Penguin Hotel.

3D printable Meccha Chameleon figurines

Fan-made models of the white blob character have followed the pose update closely, so you can print physical figurines of the same stances you strike in-game. Community creators have posted print profiles covering both the original set and the newer poses, and several files are marked compatible with the A1 Mini.

The figures print best oriented upright with supports where needed. The base scale sits around 80mm tall, but you can scale the file larger if you want a bigger figure. A few poses, such as the Eagle or Lean Back, do not stand on their own the way they appear in the game, so look for versions that add a small platform to hold the stance.

You can browse and download the profiles from the creator pages on MakerWorld.

Note: These fan models carry MakerWorld licenses that limit sharing and prohibit commercial use, so keep any derivative work on that platform and credit the original creator.

Once you have the pose wheel memorized, switching stances mid-round becomes second nature, and matching a pose to the surface you are hiding against is what separates a quick spot from a long, uninterrupted round of camouflage.
