All 20 river-belt seeds sorted by rarity, from the free Oak Seed up to the $1.75 Qi Void Seed.

Every seed in Greedy Growers spawns on the river belt, and the belt does not care about your bank balance. As of Update 1.2 there are 20 seeds spread across eight rarities, running from Common all the way up to Divine, and each one carries its own price tag and spawn chance. The pricier the seed, the rarer it is, which is exactly why you should know what you are looking at before you spend.

Quick answer: There are 20 seeds across eight rarities. The rarest and most expensive is the Void Seed, a Divine seed with a 1 in 1,000 spawn chance that costs $1.75 Qi. When it appears, a message flashes on screen so you know it landed on the belt.

Every Greedy Growers seed, cost, and spawn chance

The table below covers all 20 seeds currently in the game, grouped by their rarity and listed with both spawn chance and purchase cost. The Oak Seed is the only free option, so everything after it is a decision about how much money you want to sink into a single plant.

How the eight rarity tiers affect spawn odds

Rarity and spawn chance move together in Greedy Growers. Common seeds show up roughly once every five spawns, so you will almost always have an Oak or Pine option on the belt. Divine seeds sit at the other extreme, appearing about once in every 1,000 spawns, and their price climbs into the quintillions to match.

RaritySpawn chanceCost range
Common1 in 5Free – $25
Rare1 in 9$200 – $500
Epic1 in 15$10K – $20K
Legendary1 in 120$2.50M – $10M
Mythic1 in 300$3B – $7B
Celestial1 in 400$500B – $750B
Secret1 in 660$500T – $850T
Divine1 in 1,000$1Qi – $1.75Qi

Because the higher tiers are so rare, treat a Celestial, Secret, or Divine spawn as a moment to act on rather than a seed you can rely on farming. The belt refreshes with different picks, so waiting for a specific top-tier seed can cost you far more time than the plant is worth if you cannot afford it yet.

Can you increase seed luck?

No. As of Update 1.2 there is no Seed Luck system in Greedy Growers, so you cannot shift the spawn odds in your favor. The developers have not added any luck mechanic yet, which means the 1 in 5 through 1 in 1,000 rates apply to everyone equally. The only way to see a rare seed is to keep watching the river belt.

Mutated seeds and what they do

Mutations are a separate layer on top of the standard seed list, and they only appear during specific weather events. While a mutation weather event is active, seeds that spawn on the river belt and the seeds already planted in your plot both have a chance to catch that event’s mutation.

A mutated seed grows into a mutated plant and produces mutated fruit. The payoff is straightforward. Mutated plants and fruits sell for more than their base versions, so catching a mutation on a valuable seed is a direct boost to your harvest income.

The seed lineup will keep changing as the game adds content, so the counts and prices above reflect the current Update 1.2 state. If you are planning purchases, match your available cash to the tiers you can realistically afford and let the rarer spawns come to you rather than draining your balance on every seed that scrolls past.
