Tracking the Treasure is the third and final step of the Bell of Return quest line in Mistfall Hunter, and it sends you into Hallowgrove for a missing Bell Fragment. The catch is the second objective, which puts you up against the Greataxe Berserker, one of the map’s mini-bosses. Both targets sit close together near the same landmark, so the whole quest can be wrapped up in a single extraction run.
Quick answer: Queue an extraction run in Hallowgrove, go to the Supreme Hall POI in the northwest corner, kill the grunt on the steps and grab the Bell Fragment, then heal up and defeat the Greataxe Berserker roaming just below those steps to finish the quest.
Where Tracking the Treasure fits in the Bell of Return quest line
You reach this quest after clearing the two steps before it. The line runs in a fixed order, and Victory Wine must be done first to unlock Tracking the Treasure.
| Step | Quest |
|---|---|
| 1 | Missing Ingredients |
| 2 | Victory Wine |
| 3 | Tracking the Treasure |
| Next | The Silent Statue |
The quest has two objectives: kill the Greataxe Berserker and search the designated location for bell fragments. You can complete them in either order, since both are near the Supreme Hall in the same corner of Hallowgrove.

Once the quest is active, load into an extraction run in Hallowgrove. The Bell Fragment is tied to the Supreme Hall POI, which sits in the northwest corner of the map. Make your way there before dealing with the boss.

How to find and beat the Greataxe Berserker
The Greataxe Berserker is a mini-boss, not a normal enemy, so it hits harder and takes longer to bring down. You don’t need to hunt across the map for it. The boss roams just below the steps of the Supreme Hall, which keeps both objectives in the same spot. Its red icon shows on the map so you can confirm the target before dropping in.

Melee is the more reliable approach here. Repeat the pattern of baiting an attack, dodging, landing a few hits, and backing off. If you’re solo and get knocked down, avoid self-reviving mid-fight, since leaving the boss area resets the encounter and restores its health.
Rewards and how to confirm the quest is complete
With both objectives done, a “Task Completed: Tracking the Treasure” prompt appears on the right side of the screen, and the quest tracker flips both objectives to 1/1. That’s your confirmation the quest is finished.
Loot the Greataxe Berserker’s body before you extract. Mini-boss drops here can include camp upgrade supplies and rare accessories, and mini-bosses across Hallowgrove also have a strong chance to drop epic-rarity keys. Stash anything valuable, then head to an extract to keep what you earned and move on to The Silent Statue.
