HoYoverse is now recruiting testers for the Genshin Impact version 7.1 beta, and the sign-up window is short. Anyone who wants a shot at early access has to submit a recruitment form while logged into their own HoYoverse account, and only a limited number of applicants get picked. Meeting every requirement does not guarantee a slot, but missing one will keep you out.

7.1 beta application deadline
The recruitment form stays open to the public until August 5, 2026, 2 AM UTC. Once that time passes, applications close and late entries are not accepted. There is no confirmed start date for the test itself yet, so treat the deadline as the only fixed point and apply early rather than waiting.
Because selection is limited, submitting on time is the bare minimum. Double-check every field before you send the form, since incorrect or incomplete details can disqualify an entry.
Eligibility requirements
The test is open to everyone, but you have to satisfy all of the following before the form will count. Sort these out first so you are not scrambling as the deadline approaches.

If you are chosen, the Paimon bot will send you a direct message on Discord with further instructions. That DM is the only confirmation. If you are not selected, you receive no message at all, so silence means you did not make the cut this round.
Note: Because the bot delivers everything through Discord, an application with closed DMs or a mismatched Discord ID can silently fail even if you were picked. Confirm both before the deadline.
What the 7.1 test covers
Selected testers get to try content planned for version 7.1 ahead of its public release, including new characters, their weapons, and related gameplay. Drip marketing for 7.1 has not started yet, though early leaks point to Vodyanitsa, a five-star Hydro unit, as a possible addition during the Snezhnaya run.
All beta participants sign a non-disclosure agreement covering what they test, so anything you play in the build is meant to stay private until it launches. If Vodyanitsa or any other name interests you, the only official way in is the form above, and the clock runs out on August 5.
