Commandments are permanent stat boosts in Anime Astral Simulator, collected as crystals that spawn around the Lion Kingdom. As of Update 8 there are 10 of them, and each one raises a single stat such as Power, Luck, Damage, or Yen. You can hold every Commandment you find, but only one can be active at a time.
Quick answer: Reach Lion Kingdom (World 12), wait for a Commandment crystal to spawn at XX:00, XX:20, or XX:40, then walk to it and collect it before another player does. Equip it at the Commandments monument in the center of the world.
Requirement: Unlock Lion Kingdom (World 12)
Commandments only exist in Lion Kingdom, which is World 12. If you have not unlocked that world yet, there is no way to start collecting them. Push through the earlier worlds first, then return here once you have access.
Crystal spawn timing and where to look
Commandment crystals appear on a fixed 20-minute cycle, spawning at XX:00, XX:20, and XX:40. A crystal despawns the moment someone picks it up, and it also disappears on its own if nobody collects it within 30 minutes of spawning. That means you are effectively racing other players in the same server for each one.
Whenever a crystal spawns, a message appears at the top of your screen. If you keep seeing that announcement but cannot spot the crystal, check the busiest hubs in Lion Kingdom first.

Each Commandment targets one stat. The values below are the buffs you get once a Commandment is fully leveled. When you first collect a crystal, the boost is much smaller and grows as you gather duplicates.

How to level up a Commandment
Leveling is tied entirely to duplicates. After you collect your first crystal of a given Commandment, that same Commandment can still spawn again. Every extra crystal you pick up of the same type permanently raises that Commandment’s stat buff toward its maximum.
Because crystals despawn as soon as anyone grabs them, consistent progress means being fast on each 20-minute spawn and prioritizing the Commandment you actually want to farm.
How to equip or switch Commandments
The same menu shows the current level and stat buff of every Commandment you have collected, so you can confirm a swap worked by checking that the active Commandment and its buff value changed.
Which Commandment to prioritize
Pick based on your current goal rather than trying to max everything at once. Piety is the choice when you want raw Power, Repose is best for rolling better summons through Luck, and Selflessness is the one to run when you are farming rare boss drops.
Since equipping is free to change, treat Commandments as loadout swaps. Run a farming stat during long grinds, then switch to Power or Damage before a boss fight.
