How to Get the Good Ending in Say Cheese (Ending 7)

Say Cheese, the Roblox adaptation of We Become What We Behold, puts you behind a camera in a park of circle and square peeps. Every photo you take airs as a headline on the TV in the middle of the park, and the peeps react to whatever the news tells them. The Good Ending reverses the usual arc. Instead of feeding the station violence, you keep its broadcast full of hugs and small kindnesses until nobody wants to watch anymore.

Quick answer: Run the opening hat and fear shots, photograph the lovers giving the crazed square a heart, then keep airing his “#WEIRDO HAS GREAT DAY” moments until the anchor calls the “FINAL BROADCAST.”

Say Cheese – How to get the Good Ending

How the Say Cheese Good Ending triggers

The Good Ending is a ratings problem. The station wants conflict, and the anchor tells you so repeatedly. Each positive headline you air pulls viewers away, and once enough of them are gone the TV drops to static with the message “RATINGS ARE DOWN.” Keep it up past that point and the station gives in, airs one final broadcast, and goes dark. The game records it as Ending 7 of 12.

You don’t need any items, skins, or currency for this. The only tool is the point-and-click camera viewfinder, and the whole route runs in one session from a fresh start. If you need to step away, the pause menu holds your place, and it also shows how many endings you’ve found so far. Press P to resume.

The route below follows the order the park’s events actually unfold. Most of the headlines come from what’s in your frame when you click, so it pays to look before you shoot.

Opening shots: hats, lovers, and the first fear headlines

The first stretch looks like it’s heading somewhere dark, and that’s fine. These shots set up the characters the Good Ending depends on, especially the angry square and the couple.

Aim the viewfinder at the monocled peep in a bowler hat and take the shot. The TV displays “#OOH NICE HAT,” after which bowler hats appear on multiple circles and squares throughout the park.
Locate the circle-and-square pair hugging beneath floating hearts and photograph them. Their headline is “#GROSS, GO GET A ROOM.” Although the station’s comment is snide, this pair becomes important much later; remember their location.

Shortly after, a business peep in a suit hands money to an angry square and tells him to “Make it LOUD.” You don’t need to photograph the payoff for this ending. Just watch where the square goes, because he starts shouting at passersby right away.

Look for a frightened circle standing near squares and photograph them together. That frame produces “#CIRCLE FEARS SQUARES.”

Once the shot goes through, the headline shows up on the TV in the middle of the park, where every peep can see it.

Turning the crazed square with “#SQUARE SAVES LOVERS!”

This is where the run splits off from the violent endings. The crazed square wanders toward the lovers, and instead of a fight, the couple wins him over. Your job is to make sure the news shows it.

Keep an eye on the crazed square as he approaches the lovers. Frame all three together and click to air “#WHAT IS THAT SQUARE DOING?”
Hold off on taking the picture until the lovers set a heart atop the crazed square’s head; only then take the shot.
Photograph the moment with the heart visible to air “#SQUARE SAVES LOVERS!” The anchor immediately complains with “PHOTOGRAPHER! What are you DOING?” and “Nobody watches NICE! My ratings are DYING!” That reaction means you’re on the right path.

Airing “#WEIRDO HAS GREAT DAY” until ratings crash

The reformed spiky square, now wearing a heart, roams the park hugging other peeps. The station calls him a weirdo, and every photo of him airs as “#WEIRDO HAS GREAT DAY.” This loop drives the ratings down, so expect to repeat it many times while the anchor begs for “ONE fight.”

Follow the heart-topped square and photograph him whenever he’s hugging or spreading love to another peep. Keep him centered in the brackets so the shot reads as his story.

Watch the TV after each click to confirm the “#WEIRDO HAS GREAT DAY” banner went out. If a different headline airs, your frame caught something else, so line up the next shot more tightly.

Keep repeating the shot as he moves on to new peeps. The anchor’s complaints escalate to “WHO is going to WATCH this?” and “Bring me SCREAMING! Not HUGS!” Ignore them.

When the TV turns to static with “RATINGS ARE DOWN,” stop and watch. The anchor announces “I paid someone to stir things up! SHOOT HIM!” and sends in a screaming square who introduces himself as your new correspondent.

Handling the paid screaming square

The new correspondent exists to drag the broadcast back toward conflict. The trick is to catch him at his least dramatic, then return to the kind shots before the station regains momentum.

Follow the correspondent while he walks around the park without yelling at anyone. He’ll pass close to other peeps, so wait for a clean moment where he’s simply strolling.

Photograph him mid-stroll. The TV airs “#SQUARE JUST KINDA WALKING,” and he wonders aloud, “Wait… am I BORING now?”

The anchor isn’t pleased with the dud story and keeps scolding you over it, but the headline stays on the TV.

When the correspondent finally attacks someone, take one photo of it to air “#SCREAMING SQUARE ATTACKS.” The anchor celebrates with “YES! Thank you, PHOTOGRAPHER! THAT’S a story!”

Go straight back to the heart-wearing square and photograph him again. Don’t follow up on the attack with more violent shots.

Filling the broadcast with kindness

This is the longest part of the run. Hearts keep spreading across the park, and every peaceful shot you air keeps the station’s audience shrinking. Rotate among a few types of kind moments, and keep returning to the reformed square whenever there’s nothing else to shoot.

The reformed square

The heart-topped square remains your most reliable subject. Track him as he runs between peeps, and photograph each hug to air another “#WEIRDO HAS GREAT DAY.”

More peeps wear hearts with each broadcast, and they start crowding around the TV to watch the good news.

Keep the brackets on him as he weaves through the heart-wearing crowd. A shot that catches him mid-run among other hearts still counts as his story.

Every few hugs, take another shot. The anchor gets more desperate, but there’s no penalty for airing the same positive headline again and again.

Heart-wearing peeps and local kindness

Pairs of peeps wearing hearts are also good subjects. Frame two of them together and click.

Peaceful peeps with heart hats going about their business produce “#LOCAL PEEP HAVING NICE DAY,” which works just as well for dragging the ratings down.

In between, slot in another shot of the reformed square to keep his story running.

A circle and square complimenting each other airs as “#CIRCLE COMPLIMENTS SQUARE.” Get both peeps inside the brackets before clicking.

When the screaming square attacks again

Late in the run, the screaming square lashes out once more and the anchor pleads, “More of him, PHOTOGRAPHER! PLEASE!” Don’t take that shot. Turn the camera to the reformed square or the heart-wearing crowd and air another kind headline instead.

Keep this up and the screaming square eventually calms down. Photograph him while he’s resting, and he admits, “Honestly? They PAID me to yell,” followed by “This is WAY nicer!”

Final broadcast and the last photo

When both squares have improved, the anchor admits defeat. First comes “No no NO! PHOTOGRAPHER, what have you DONE?” followed by “FINE! Shoot your nice news! See if I CARE!” The final line is “ONE more photo… then we’re FINISHED.”

When “FINAL BROADCAST” appears, frame the crowd of peeps hugging with hearts and click. The TV airs “#THANK YOU PARK.”

How to confirm the Good Ending unlocked

The game confirms the unlock twice. First, a black ending card reads “good ending” with the line “the station went dark and the park stayed kind,” tagged “ending 7 of 12 new.” Then, after the last click, you receive the Good Ending Polaroid labeled “GOOD ENDING” with a NEW! tag.

  • Ending card text: “the station went dark and the park stayed kind”
  • Card label: “ending 7 of 12 new”
  • Polaroid title: “GOOD ENDING” with a NEW! tag
  • Endings counter goes up by one (for example, 2 / 12 to 3 / 12)

From the results screen, pick PLAY AGAIN to start a fresh run toward another ending, or MENU to return to the title screen. If you want to jump back in later, Say Cheese is on its Roblox game page.
