Palworld: How to One-Shot Hard Mode Zoe & Grizzbolt with Necromus P

The exact party, passives, and status stacking that pushes Necromus P past 9,000 Attack to erase the boss in a single Twin Spears cast.

The exact party, passives, and status stacking that pushes Necromus P past 9,000 Attack to erase the boss in a single Twin Spears cast.

Hard Mode Zoe & Grizzbolt sits behind a 464,000 HP wall in the Rayne Syndicate Tower, and the fight is designed to grind you down over its timer. A fully tuned Necromus P setup skips all of that. By layering Burn, Poison, and a maxed party buff before you swap in your attacker, a single Twin Spears cast deletes the entire health bar at once.

Quick answer: Apply Burn with a Fire Arrow, apply Poison with a Poison Arrow, stack Orserk B’s Partner Skill to 30 with a drone launcher, then summon a Level 80 Necromus P and use Twin Spears. The boss drops in one hit.

The party that makes the one-shot work

Every slot on this team exists to inflate Necromus P’s damage on the frame it attacks. Four of the five Pals are pure multipliers, and only Necromus P ever needs to land a blow. All five sit at Level 80.

PalPartner SkillRole
Necromus PDark Knight of the AbyssAttacker — casts Twin Spears
Jormuntide Ignis BStormbringer Lava Dragon+65% damage to burning enemies
PrixterPhantom Venom+65% damage to poisoned enemies
Orserk BFerocious Thunder Dragon+5% Attack/Defense per bullet hit, up to 30 stacks (+150%)
Celesdir Noct BBlessing of Chaos+80% Attack to the active Pal, drains its health over time

Because Grizzbolt is weak to Ground, this build ignores type matching entirely and wins on raw multiplied Attack instead. The health drain from Celesdir Noct B never matters, since the fight ends before it can tick you down.

Necromus P passives and gear

Necromus P is built to trade everything for offense. The four passive skills stack large Attack bonuses while shredding Defense and Max Health, which is acceptable here because it only needs to survive long enough to cast once.

Passive skillEffect
MuscleheadAttack +30%, Work Speed -50%
Demon GodAttack +30%, Defense +5.0%
Twin-Edged Holy BladeAttack +50%, Defense -30%
God of DestructionAttack +40%, Defense +20%, Max Health -50%

With those passives and the party buffs active, Necromus P reaches roughly 9,620 Attack. Its Twin Spears active skill carries a base Power of 700 and hits multiple times, so that Attack figure is multiplied across every hit in a single cast.

The equipped accessories are all Epic tier, and each boosts the active Pal’s Attack or dark damage. Run all four together.

  • Lord of the Underworld’s Baton
  • Lyleen Noct’s Talisman
  • Katress Ring
  • Dogen Emblem

For weapons, you need a crossbow to apply the status arrows and a drone launcher to build Orserk B’s stacks. The demonstrated crossbow is Epic tier with 448 Attack, but its damage is irrelevant here. It only exists to deliver Fire and Poison arrows.

The one-shot sequence, in order

Order matters. All three buffs (Burn, Poison, and the Orserk B stack) must be live at the moment Necromus P casts Twin Spears. Do this while Necromus P is still in reserve, then swap it in last.

Enter the Rayne Syndicate Tower arena and shoot the boss with a Fire Arrow. This applies the Burn status, which activates Jormuntide Ignis B’s +65% damage bonus.
Fire a Poison Arrow into the boss to apply Poison. This turns on Prixter’s +65% damage bonus, stacking on top of the Burn multiplier.
Switch to the drone launcher and hit the boss rapidly while standing close to it. Each bullet adds a stack to Orserk B’s Ferocious Thunder Dragon buff, so keep firing until you reach the 30-stack cap for the full +150% Attack and Defense boost.
Summon Necromus P and immediately activate Twin Spears. With Burn, Poison, the 30-stack buff, and Celesdir Noct B’s +80% all live, the multi-hit cast erases the boss’s health bar in one go.

How you know it landed, and why it can fail

Done correctly, the boss goes from full to defeated during a single Twin Spears animation, and the tower clear triggers before the timer becomes a factor. If any of the multipliers is missing, the cast will chunk the bar instead of emptying it, and you will be forced into a normal drawn-out fight.

The common reasons the one-shot does not go off:

  • Burn or Poison wore off before the cast, so a +65% multiplier was inactive.
  • Orserk B’s buff was below 30 stacks because you stopped firing the drone launcher too early or moved out of range.
  • Necromus P was not at Level 80 with all four Attack passives, leaving it short of the roughly 9,600 Attack threshold.

Keep the whole rotation tight and cast Twin Spears the instant Necromus P appears. As long as the three timed buffs overlap on that single cast, Hard Mode Zoe & Grizzbolt goes down before it gets a turn.
