Adopt Me Fairytale Egg: How to Get It and Every Pet

The Fairytale Egg is a limited Legendary-tier egg in Adopt Me that landed on August 29, 2026, taking the place of the Endangered Egg. It holds a fresh lineup of 10 pets, from a common Pinkypillar to a Legendary Huntsman Robin, and it’s the centerpiece of that week’s Admin Abuse event.

Quick answer: Buy the Fairytale Egg from the Gumball Machine in the Nursery for 750 Bucks, equip it as your active pet, then complete its 5 tasks to hatch one of the 10 pets.

Where to buy the Fairytale Egg

The main way to get one is the Gumball Machine, which sits inside the Nursery and next to the Hospital. Each egg costs 750 Bucks. You can also grab one from the pedestal placed right beside the Nursery for the same price.

Visually, the egg is a large, rounded golden shell with a smooth glow, a white circular center, and two translucent white wings streaked with blue on its side. Those wings are the giveaway that this is the Fairytale Egg and not an older design like the Pink Egg it was often compared to before release.

Free and bundle routes to a Fairytale Egg

You don’t have to spend Bucks to get one. The Fairytale Egg is folded into a few reward systems, so patient players can pick it up without paying.

Complete three daily tasks on the Task Board while the Fairytale Egg is in the reward rotation.
Claim it as a reward for aging up a pet.
Trade for one with another player.
Buy a bundle of four eggs for 99 Robux if you want a bulk shortcut.

Every pet in the Fairytale Egg and its hatch odds

The egg holds two pets in each rarity tier. Common pets share a 35% tier chance, and the odds tighten as the rarity climbs, down to a combined 3% for the two Legendary pets. Here is the full pool with the pull chance for each pet.

If a Legendary is your goal, the math is simple. You have a 1.5% shot at Huntsman Robin and a 1.5% shot at Three Blind Mice on each hatch, for a combined 3% chance of pulling either. That low rate is why the bundle of four eggs or the free Task Board route can help you rack up more attempts.

How to hatch the Fairytale Egg

Open your Backpack, find the Fairytale Egg, and equip it as your active pet so it travels with you.

Complete the egg’s required tasks as they appear. The Fairytale Egg takes 5 tasks to hatch, so keep it equipped and work through each need it prompts you with.

Finish the final task to trigger the hatch. Once all five are done, the egg cracks open and one of the 10 pets is added to your collection, which you can confirm on the Pets tab of your Backpack.

Because the egg replaced the Endangered Egg and is tied to a limited event window, it’s worth grabbing eggs while they’re still in rotation. Stacking free Task Board eggs alongside a paid bundle gives you the most hatches, which matters most if you’re chasing the 3% Legendary pull.
