Where Bear? is a two-minute hide-and-chase minigame in Adopt Me’s Halloween 2026 event. It runs on its own server, so it never interrupts you with a “starting soon” pop-up. You walk to a door in the Manor, accept a server hop, and rounds then play back to back for as long as you stay.

Quick answer: Go through the Manor’s Ghost Gallery room into Count Slothula’s red room. Walk into the arched door with a pink light between two orange bear warning signs, then press Go! to load the Where Bear? server. Each round gives you a random role: Hunter, Bear or Survivor. In our rounds, a Survivor who lasted the full two minutes earned the most, 1,205 to 1,250 Candy Corn.

Where Bear? entrance: How to reach the door

Load into Adopt Me on Roblox and follow the route below.

Use the signpost at the spawn plaza to travel to the Manor.
Walk through the glowing front door. It leads into the Ghost Gallery room.
With your back to the entrance, take the dark open doorway on the left side of the Ghost Gallery room. It opens into Count Slothula’s red room.
Locate the pink-lit, arched vault-style door, with an orange triangular warning sign bearing a bear face on either side. Walk directly into it.

Joining a round: Spectating and the lobby

If a round is already running when you arrive, you watch it out. The top of the screen shows the TIME LEFT timer, “WHERE BEAR?” and “SPECTATING”, with an Exit Minigame button in the bottom left.

Between rounds, everyone waits in a blue sci-fi room. The HUD shows a “STARTING IN” countdown, the player count and “STARTING SOON”. Our lobbies had 30 to 35 players. The next round starts as soon as the countdown hits zero.

How Where Bear? assigns Hunter, Bear and Survivor

You can’t pick your role. During the “STARTING IN” countdown, a sign spins above your character listing HUNTER, BEAR and SURVIVOR. When the round timer starts at 02:00, a banner tells you the result: “You are a Survivor!”, “You are a Bear!” or “You are a Hunter!”

The role sign spins through Hunter, Bear and Survivor before the round begins.

We found no way to choose a role. In our 34 rounds we were a Survivor about 26 times, the Bear 5 times, the Hunter once and a Ghost once; that is only our sample, not the game’s odds. From then on, the top-center HUD reads TIME LEFT, your role, and CANDY. The round timer starts at 2:00, and the round takes place on a spaceship-style lab map with grey-blue panels, round windows, red capsule lights and yellow floor markings. Big candy corn pieces lie around the corridors. Picking them up raises your CANDY count, and the end card lists them as “Candy Collected”.

What each Where Bear? role does

Survivor

As a Survivor, your job is to keep moving and stay alive. The CANDY counter on the HUD climbs every few seconds while you last, and any candy corn pieces you grab add to it.

At 02:00 the banner says “You are a Survivor!” and the HUD shows SURVIVOR.

The round ends on “GAME OVER” or “Survivors Win!”, and sometimes “Survivors Win!” appears before the timer runs out. The end card shows either “You Survived!” or “Time Survived” with your seconds, plus “Candy Collected”. Survivors earn 10 Candy Corn per second survived plus 5 per candy collected. Lasting the full 120 seconds paid x1205 to x1250 in our rounds. When “Survivors Win!” ended a round early, the card still said “You Survived!” with the seconds played, such as 40 seconds for x405 and 100 seconds for x1005. Why those rounds ended early was not shown on screen. We only saw “Time Survived” for certain on our Ghost round, so we can’t say exactly when the card uses one label or the other.

Bear

The Bear looks like your normal avatar. A pink bear-face button sits at the bottom center of the screen. Clicking it makes your character shout “AROOOOOO” in a speech bubble, and the button greys out for a while before you can use it again.

Pressing the bear-face button: our Bear shouts “AROOOOOO” and the button greys out.

We did not see what the roar does to other players. To capture a survivor, touch them. A “+250” pops up each time.

Touching a survivor as the Bear: +250.

The end card lists “Survivors Captured” and “Candy Collected”. The Bear earns 250 per survivor captured plus 5 per candy, so one capture and 7 candy pays x285. A Bear that catches no one only gets the candy, which works out to small totals like x10 or x45.

Hunter

When you are the Hunter, the HUD shows “HUNTER”. Select the pink megaphone-like button at the bottom center to reveal a round aiming control on the right, with a counter for two nets above it.

Press the aim button to raise and fire the Netzooka, a large dark tube your character holds. Our one shot dropped the counter from two nets to one. We missed the Bear, so we have not seen what a hit does or what a Hunter earns for a catch. Our Hunter round paid only for candy: x15 for 3 candy.

Ghost

In one of our rounds, our character was lying on the floor from the start and the role banner read “GHOST”. The round still paid out at the end: the card said “Survivors Win!”, “Time Survived 11” and x110 Candy Corn. We did not see what a Ghost can do.

Every Survivor payout we saw fits 10 Candy Corn per second plus 5 per candy, and every Bear payout fits 250 per capture plus 5 per candy. Our Candy Corn balance went up shortly after each round. Over about 75 minutes of back-to-back rounds, mostly as a Survivor, it rose from 81,056 to 121,206. For what to spend it on, see our Adopt Me Halloween shop prices.

How to leave Where Bear?

Click Exit Minigame in the bottom left at any time. If a round is running, you get a warning that says “You will not earn any rewards if you exit the game!” Press Exit Game to confirm, or Cancel to stay. Leaving shows “LOADING SAVE…” and puts you back in Count Slothula’s red room on the normal server. If you don’t want to lose that round’s Candy Corn, wait for the end card before you quit.
