Adopt Me! Halloween Update 2: How to Get the New Pets and Beat Hauntlet 2

Bolt, Skelicorn, and three Poltergeist pets arrive alongside the Hauntlet 2 door-picking minigame, with every cost and door type covered.

Bolt, Skelicorn, and three Poltergeist pets arrive alongside the Hauntlet 2 door-picking minigame, with every cost and door type covered.

The second wave of the Adopt Me! Halloween event adds a new door-picking minigame called Hauntlet 2, five fresh pets, and a batch of limited furniture and stickers. Candy Corn stays the currency that ties all of it together, so most of your time goes toward farming it and spending it in the Haunted Hotel.

Quick answer: Farm Candy Corn in Hauntlet 2, then adopt Bolt for 10,000, open Poltergeist Boxes for 13,000 each, and revive Skelicorn for 120,000 after installing the Lightning Lever from the Crypt.

New pets in Halloween Update 2 and their costs

Five pets were added. Three come straight from Candy Corn, two come from the Poltergeist Box gacha, and one needs a hidden item before you can buy it. Everything below sits in or around the Haunted Hotel on Adoption Island.

How to get Bolt

Bolt, a mischievous monkey, is the simplest adoption in the update. Walk into the Haunted Hotel lobby and look for him beside the front desk. Interact with the prompt to buy him for 10,000 Candy Corn. The purchase window reads “Buy Bolt for 10000 Candy Corn each?” and he lands in your inventory as an Uncommon pet once you confirm.

How to get the Poltergeist pets

The three ghost pets only come from the Poltergeist Box, sold on a pedestal in the Hotel lobby for 13,000 Candy Corn each. Every box rolls once against fixed odds, so the Legendary Bubblegeist takes patience and a healthy Candy Corn stockpile.

How to revive and adopt Skelicorn

Skelicorn is a Legendary pet locked behind a short puzzle. You need the Lightning Lever, an item hidden inside the Crypt tombs, before the pet becomes buyable.

Collect Crypt Keys from daily Halloween tasks and minigame rewards, then head into the Crypt and open tombs on the lower floors until the Lightning Lever drops. The loot message reads “You found Lightning Lever!”
If the lever never appears as a possible prize, reset the Crypt fully and keep opening tombs. Rewards are random, so there is no set tomb to target.
Leave the Crypt and find the caged skeleton beside the Ghost Gallery Manor. Approach the switchboard next to the cage, select Use to install the lever, and pull it. Lightning strikes and the skeleton reanimates.
With Skelicorn alive, interact with the cage and confirm the “Buy Skelicorn for 120000 Candy Corn each?” prompt to adopt it.

Open every tomb you want on each Crypt floor before claiming anything that resets it, since the Crypt collapses and restarts after a reset.

How to join and clear the Hauntlet 2 minigame

Hauntlet 2 is the new way to farm Candy Corn in Update 2. The goal is to pick the correct door 50 times across multiple floors while dodging ghosts. Luck matters, but managing your health and items is what carries a full run.

Go to Adoption Island and look to your right for the brightly lit, sign-covered Hotel with ghosts circling above it. Head inside and walk straight to the elevator, where the queue sits. A new round launches every 20 minutes.
To skip waiting at the elevator, select the prompt shown shortly before a round begins; it places you directly in the queue. The message “You are in the queue for the Hauntlet 2 Minigame” verifies your spot.

Each room gives you three doors. Pick one, survive what is behind it, and move to the next. Without items you can only afford to hit a ghost three times before your health runs out, so watch your hearts closely.
Have your teammates use their items before you do. Keys, Rainbow Wands, and Phones work for the whole room, letting you benefit from their effects while saving your own supplies. Floors become more difficult later on, and certain rooms have ghosts lurking behind two of the three doors.

Every Hauntlet 2 door type

Any door can hide a ghost. The difference is how much risk each one carries and what it tends to reward. Weigh the odds before every pick.

DoorRiskWhat it does
Regular DoorLowLow risk, low reward
Boarded up DoorMediumMay hide an item or a ghost
Haunted / Nightmare DoorHighRed-aura Nightmare versions risk more for better loot

Every Hauntlet 2 item

Items decide whether a bad floor ends your run. Knowing when to hold one matters as much as owning it.

Limited items and stickers in Update 2

Update 2 also stocks the shops with new wearables, furniture, and stickers. The Rare Mechanical Bolt Mask runs 5,200 Candy Corn, while the Legendary Pro Ghost Blaster costs 29 Robux. The Halloween Sticker Pack sells for 750 Candy Corn and can contain the Legendary Soulfire Animated Sticker for your journal. A spread of spooky furniture is available alongside them to decorate your house.

The full Halloween event runs through October 31, 2026, so there is time to farm toward Skelicorn and chase the rarer Poltergeist pulls. Spend Candy Corn on the pets you want most first, since vehicles, gliders, and cosmetics will still be there in the final stretch.
