Adopt Me added Boohoo as a Rare pet for a limited period during the Stitches’ Spotlight Halloween update, which began on October 16, 2026. The pet looks like a tiny, pale-blue teardrop with short feet; white tears fall as it sits inside a clear, bubbling blue droplet. Boohoo isn’t available for Robux or Bucks, and no egg can hatch it. Instead, it costs a set amount of Candy Corn, the Halloween event currency, so your main task is to save enough.
Quick answer: Collect 32,000 Candy Corn, go to the Hotel on Adoption Island, find Boohoo’s offer in the Lost Spirit area, and buy it. You don’t need any quest first.

How to buy Boohoo at the Hotel
The Hotel is the Halloween building in the middle of Adoption Island. Boohoo is a lonely ghost the guests left behind, so its offer sits on a side table among the abandoned luggage, not in one of the hotel rooms.

Check your Candy Corn total to verify the purchase: it should have dropped by 32,000, and Boohoo should now appear among your pets. If the Boohoo offer isn’t showing, make sure you’re in the Lost Spirit area; hotel-room requests are for a different pet.

Add to Google Preferences →Boohoo price, Neon, and Mega Neon costs
Boohoo follows Adopt Me’s usual upgrade rule. Four regular Boohoos make one Neon, and four Neons make one Mega Neon. Since every copy costs the same, the Candy Corn total grows fast.
| Version | Boohoos needed | Total Candy Corn | Look |
|---|---|---|---|
| Regular | 1 | 32,000 | Pale blue, crying in a droplet |
| Neon | 4 | 128,000 | Light blue glow at the center |
| Mega Neon | 16 | 512,000 | Center cycles through shades of blue |
A Mega Neon Boohoo costs 512,000 Candy Corn in total, 16 times the price of a single pet. Its color cycle uses the same blues as the Blue Boohoo Mega Neon Paint.

Where to earn Candy Corn for Boohoo
Every Halloween activity pays Candy Corn, so choose the one you can play reliably and repeat it. These are the routes that count toward Boohoo:
- Stitches’ Spotlight (Carnival): pick up Candy Corn around the tent while staying out of the beam.
- Ghost Gallery (Manor): beating the boss pays Candy Corn plus a Rusty Key.
- Crypt graves: Rusty Keys open graves, and some of them hold Candy Corn.
- Daily tasks: these give extra Rusty Keys for the Crypt.
- Pet needs: caring for your pets adds Candy Corn as you go.
In Stitches’ Spotlight, getting caught by the spotlight wipes out all the Candy Corn you collected that round. Use the upper and lower platforms and hide behind the target boards to stay out of it.

What Boohoo does not require
The Hotel has two Halloween pets and the shop has a Boohoo-branded paint, so they’re easy to mix up. Here’s what you don’t need:
- Shoebill’s Lost Socks quest: it unlocks Shoebill, not Boohoo. Shoebill then costs a separate 18,000 Candy Corn.
- Blue Boohoo Mega Neon Paint: an optional 49 Robux paint item. It doesn’t replace or reduce Boohoo’s price.
- Robux: Boohoo has no Robux option. The Robux pet this Halloween is Copycat, a 600 Robux Legendary in the Manor.
For comparison, Boohoo costs more than Shoebill’s 18,000 Candy Corn but less than Stitches at 70,000 Candy Corn.
Is Boohoo available after Halloween?
Boohoo is tied to the Halloween event, and Uplift Games hasn’t said it will join the permanent Bucks shop afterward. No official end date for the Lost Spirit offer is confirmed either, so treat the Candy Corn purchase as a limited window. If you already have 32,000 Candy Corn, go to the Hotel now. If you’re aiming for Neon or Mega Neon, start saving early, because 128,000 and 512,000 Candy Corn take a lot of minigame runs to collect.
