Introduced to Adopt Me on October 9, 2026, during week two of the Halloween: Hauntlet Returns update, the Skelicorn is a limited Legendary pet. Its design combines a skeletal bat-dragon unicorn with cobweb-covered bone wings, a visible ribcage, a horned skull, and a blue-and-purple mane. It is not available for direct purchase from a pedestal; instead, it lies lifeless in a skeleton cage beside the Manor until you revive it.
Quick answer: Open Crypt coffins until you pull the Lightning Lever, install it in the broken machine left of the Manor to revive the caged Skelicorn, then buy it for 120,000 Candy Corn.
What you need before you start
Two things gate the Skelicorn: the Lightning Lever that revives it, and the Candy Corn to buy it afterward. The lever itself is free, but Crypt Keys are the scarce resource, and both the lever and the keys are untradable and vanish when the event ends. Spend keys as you earn them.
- Lightning Lever — an Uncommon, untradable item pulled from a Crypt coffin on Lower Level II.
- Crypt Keys — four per day from Halloween daily tasks, plus one for each Ghost Gallery boss defeat. One key opens one coffin.
- 120,000 Candy Corn — earned from the Hauntlet 2 minigame, Ghost Gallery rounds, and by meeting your pets’ needs.
You only revive the Skelicorn once per account, so you never need a second lever. After the cage is active, every extra copy just costs Candy Corn. The purchase price and revive flow match the official Halloween: Hauntlet Returns update notes.

The Crypt, a dungeon with four levels, is located near the Manor. Coffins occupy every floor, and opening each one costs a Crypt Key. A coffin usually contains Candy Corn, a Crypt Twig, or a ladder leading to the next floor. The Lower Level II rewards board lists the Lightning Lever.
Coffin contents are random, making a lever an unlikely first find. If your coffins give you only Candy Corn, claim the level’s rewards, reset the Crypt, and make another attempt with fresh keys.
Install the lever and buy the Skelicorn
After collecting the lever, return to the skeleton behind bars. The device is in a small shack at the base of Manor hill, tucked into the alcove on the Manor’s left. Glowing markers show the way if you lose your bearings. Before you install the lever, the console displays “Hm. Needs more conduction.”
How to confirm the Skelicorn is yours
After you pay, the cage’s skeleton animates and a “New Pet Discovered! SKELICORN” card appears, confirming the unlock. The pet is added to your inventory as a companion. Lever installation is a one-time action, so the cage remains active afterward; return to buy more copies with Candy Corn without finding another lever.
Neon and Mega Neon Skelicorn costs
You can fuse multiple Skelicorns into glowing forms. A Neon Skelicorn glows orange on its wings, feet, tail, teeth, horn, and parts of its mane. A Mega Neon glows in the same spots, but those areas cycle through rainbow colors. Each upgrade multiplies the Candy Corn you need, since you are buying several base copies first.
| Form | Copies needed | Total Candy Corn |
|---|---|---|
| Regular | 1 | 120,000 |
| Neon | 4 | 480,000 |
| Mega Neon | 16 | 1,920,000 |
As the pet ages, it learns tricks in order: Sit as a Newborn, Joyful as a Junior, Beg as a Pre-Teen, Jump as a Teen, then two more tricks at Post-Teen and Full Grown. Since the Skelicorn is limited to the Halloween event, grind your Candy Corn while the shop stays open rather than counting on it being available later.
