Titles in Aion 2 sit above your character’s name, but the Unique grade — the gold titles — are the ones worth chasing for their numbers. Each one fills a title slot and carries three bonuses while equipped, plus a smaller permanent bonus for simply owning it. The trade-off is the grind: most gold titles are tied to a long collection or mastery goal rather than a single quest.
Quick answer: Gold titles belong to the Unique grade. Equip one in each of the Attack, Defense, and Other slots. They become available through extensive collections or mastery objectives, not as standard quest rewards.
How gold titles and title slots work
Every title belongs to one of three slots, usually shown as Attack, Defense, and Other. You can wear one title from each slot at the same time, so a damage title never competes with a defensive one. Gold titles are the Unique rarity, and they list three stats while equipped.
Owning a title also grants a small permanent bonus that stays active whether or not the title is equipped. That means it is always worth finishing a title’s objective even if you do not plan to wear it, because the owned bonus stacks with everything else.
You only equip one title per slot, so pick the gold title whose equipped stats match your class and current activity, and keep collecting the rest for their owned bonuses.
Attack slot gold titles
The Attack slot holds the offensive gold titles, built around critical and PvE damage stats.

Unbound by Genus
This title unlocks once you have raised every Genus Insight to level 10. Open the Pet section and move to Genus Insight, where you spend Kina and Soul Crystals to level up Cogni, Fera, Natura, and Varian Insight. Those levels are shared across your account, so any progress carries over to your other characters.
Genuine Masterpiece
You need 13 different Unique Field Boss Artworks. Artwork only begins dropping from Desecrator Newbold and every Field Boss after it, so earlier bosses will not count toward the total. You can track which bosses qualify from the Field Boss section on the map.
Desecrator Newbold is a level 45 Cogni that spawns at the Legion Base Ruins in Altgard. It drops Artwork: Desecrator Newbold at a 25% chance, so expect several clears per piece.
Golden Glow
Golden Glow is awarded for fully enhancing a single Unique piece of gear, which means pushing a Unique weapon or armor slot to its maximum enhancement level. It is the one offensive gold title that does not require a long collection, just a heavy investment of enhancement materials into one item.
Defense slot gold titles
The defensive gold titles trade damage for large chunks of HP and mitigation, which suits tanks and anyone clearing tough endgame fights.

Dominator of Dimensions
This title requires 25 different Wings. A chunk of those come free from the main story through the Daeva ascension quests, and the rest arrive from dungeon drops, the Market, and Substance Morph. Keep every pair you obtain, since the count is about distinct Wings, not duplicates.

Click requires the full set of 10 Shugo Festival Artworks. The Festival runs for a few minutes every hour, and participation rewards Centuryroot Tokens. Use them at the festival shop to purchase the 10 Artwork pieces individually.
Other slot gold titles
The Other slot covers utility stats like movement, stamina, and cooldowns. Two gold titles here come from collection goals, and a couple more come from completing specific content.

Empty Closet
Empty Closet needs over 700 Skins registered to your account. The fastest way to build that number is to run gear you do not need through Item Extraction, which pulls the skin and adds it to your closet. It is a slow, long-term goal that grows naturally as you cycle through gear.
Journey’s Path
This one requires 6 Expedition Artworks. Those drop from Expeditions run on Conquest difficulty, including Ferocious Horn Den, Krao Cave, and Vakron Sky Island, so you will be clearing high-tier party content to collect the full set.
Other Unique titles from content clears
Two more Unique titles fit the Other slot without any collection grind. Through Hell and Back comes from clearing the Sealed Dungeon Ruins of the Ancient City of Ru, which first requires beating three other Sealed Dungeons — Lost Ruins, Twisted Pit, and Rift Fissure. Encountering Zikel’s Core is awarded for finishing Episode Quest 6 of the main story, which begins with the “Fafnite’s Whereabouts” quest at the Steel Hammer Merchants HQ in Altgard or “Where the Drana Flows” at Zumion Village in Verteron.
Confirming a title unlocked
When you meet a title’s objective, it appears in your title list and can be set from the title menu. The equipped bonus only applies while that title sits in its slot, and the owned bonus applies the moment you have the title, equipped or not. If a gold title is not showing up, you have not yet hit the full count — the collection goals like 25 Wings, 13 Field Boss Artworks, or 700 Skins only trigger once every entry is accounted for.
