AION 2 Dailies and Weeklies: What to Do Every Day and Week

Your full daily and weekly routine at level 45, from the five Duty Missions to Odyle Energy, Daily Dungeon entries, and Altgard field bosses.

Your full daily and weekly routine at level 45, from the five Duty Missions to Odyle Energy, Daily Dungeon entries, and Altgard field bosses.

Almost everything worth doing at the AION 2 cap is metered by a counter. Some refill a little every few hours, some once a day, and some only on the weekly reset, and every one has a cap that throws away anything you earn past it. Once your character hits level 45, the daily portion takes less time than a single raid pull, and the weekly portion is a short Tuesday session before the servers roll over.

Quick answer: Each day, clear your 5 Duty Missions, spend Odyle Energy and both Nightmare attempts, and use your Shugo Festival keys. Before the Wednesday 16:00 server reset, burn your Ascension Trial entries, Daily Dungeon entries, Exploration counts, and Abyss hours.

When the daily and weekly reset happens

Daily content rolls over every day at 16:00 server time. Weekly content resets every Wednesday at the same clock tick, so the Wednesday daily refresh and the weekly refresh land together. The Season 1 Daeva Pass follows the same rhythm, running until Wednesday, December 16, 2026.

The exact local hour can drift with daylight-saving changes even when the underlying reset does not move, so treat the in-game countdown as the real deadline. Hover over any entry counter and its tooltip shows a “Daily recharge in” and “Weekly recharge in” timer.

How each counter handles that reset decides your whole week:

  • Banks for a week: Nightmare attempts (up to 14), plus the Conquest and Transcendence reward counts.
  • Lost at the weekly reset: Ascension Trial entries, Exploration counts, Daily Dungeon entries, Subjugation tickets, raid attempts, Abyss time, and unclaimed cubes.
  • Regenerates continuously: Odyle Energy restores every three hours, including while you are offline, until it hits the cap.

The daily checklist in order

Work through these after you log in. The early tasks waste rewards if you skip them, while the later ones bank for days.

Daily taskRefillCap
Duty Missions5 rewarded completions/dayPer server
Odyle Energy+15 every 3 hours560 (840 membership)
Nightmare+2 attempts/day14
Conquest reward count+1 every 8 hours21
Transcendence reward count+1 every 12 hours14
Shugo Festival keys+3/day12 (21 membership)
Dimensional Invasion keys+1/day7

Spend Odyle Energy before it caps, since any regeneration while the bar is full disappears. Use your two Nightmare attempts on the highest tier you can reliably clear. An attempt is only consumed on a successful clear, so a wipe costs nothing and works as free practice. After that, claim your Shugo Festival and Dimensional Invasion keys, join the daily Abyss Siege for Abyss Points, and collect Pet Soul Shards to build passive Genus Insight stats.

Your daily Kina gain is capped at 1,000,000. Once you hit a ceiling, switch to content that still pays out, since Spacetime Rifts keep only a trickle coming.

How to complete Duty Missions

Duty Missions unlock at level 45, after you enter the Abyss. They are quick open-world bounties, and only five rewarded completions pay out per day. That limit is tracked across the server rather than per character, so clearing them on an alt spends the same daily allowance your main would use.

Press J to open the Journal, then switch to the Duty tab at the top. The list shows the day’s available missions along with their level, rarity, and reward previews.

Pick missions that offer the rewards you want. Favor ones that give Shugo Festival Reward Keys, Odyle Energy, or dungeon entry/clear tickets. If the list is weak, refresh it for 1,000 Kina to reroll the reward choices; the refresh cost climbs, so stop before a small upgrade turns into an expensive reroll.
Go to the marked area and finish the task. For a combat bounty like Clearing Contaminants II, head to the Contaminated Sanctum and take down 25 tainted, altered creatures. Defeating them out in the field also grants Pet Soul Points for leveling your pet.

When the objective reads 25/25, click the on-screen quest tracker to claim the reward instantly, without returning to an NPC. The “Quest Complete” and “Reward Acquired” window confirms it worked, handing over the guaranteed base reward plus your selected random drops.

Each contaminant bounty at the Contaminated Sanctum pays 1,000 Abyss Points and 50,000 bound Kina on top of the random reward you pick. The leftmost random slot is a guaranteed drop, and the rightmost carries the lowest probability; click the small percent icon under the rewards to read the exact rates before you choose.

Separate from Missions are Duty Commands, scroll-based weekly commissions bought from Command Merchants. The capital merchant sells 12 PvE scrolls a week and the Abyss merchant up to 20 PvP scrolls, both tracked per server. An unused purchase allowance is lost at the reset, so buy the scrolls before Wednesday even if you finish them later. You can pay Kina to redraw a command’s reward up to 10 times, chasing tickets, high-tier ores, gems, or Odyle Energy.

Spending and crafting Odyle Energy

Odyle Energy is not an entry fee. It unlocks the reward cube after an Expedition, Transcendence, or Sanctuary clear. The resource restores 15 every three hours, which works out to 120 per day, and holds up to 560, or 840 with Special Quai Membership. A standard Conquest or Transcendence cube costs 40 energy.

Spend it on Conquest runs first, since they award Unique gear and advance you toward a guaranteed reward. Put remaining energy into Transcendence, whose reward counts carry over. Older Exploration dungeons such as Krao Cave and Urugugu Canyon use only 20 energy per cube, which makes them cheap places to farm Enhance Stones.

When your supply runs dry, craft more through Substance Morph. Each craft requires 25 Odyle, 5 Fine Odyle, 1 Pure Odyle, and 50,000 Kina, and you can make up to 20 per week. With Special Quai Membership active, the Wind Breeze Merchant sells another 20 Odyle Energy per week at 100,000 Kina each. The membership also unlocks Remote Storage, the Quna Exchange, the Market, login-queue priority, raises the Odyle Energy cap to 840, and raises your maximum Shugo Festival Reward Keys to 21.

Never clear Conquest or Transcendence and leave without claiming the Odyle Energy Cube. The “Remaining Unobtained Cube Count” holds 10 per server each week and drops even when you exit without the reward. At zero, you are locked out of those dungeons until the reset. If you are low on energy, stop running rather than clearing and skipping the cube.

Weekly counters to clear before Wednesday

Weekly counters are easy to waste if you leave them until later. Their maximum equals the amount restored: three Ascension Trial entries refill to three, not six. Anything unused disappears on Wednesday.

Ascension Trial (Nightmare Altar) gives three solo entries a week, and the rewards rise with difficulty; Normal unlocks at item level 1,500. If your item level is climbing fast, holding those entries until later in the week can open a higher difficulty. Raids restore four attempts apiece, with a separate limit on rewarded kills. In Abyssal Forge: Ludra, a 10-player Conquest raid with a 120-minute limit and two revives, you can kill the final boss Eternal Ludra once per week for Amplify Stone Fragments and the Wrathful Mind, Will, and Ego pieces.

Abyss access is measured in time, not entries. Each layer gives 7 hours a week, and membership raises Lower and Middle Reshanta to 14 hours. The timer drains while you are inside the zone, so enter when something is scheduled, such as a field boss or an Artifact siege. A Lower or Middle Abyss Rift Stone adds an hour to that layer if you run short.

The Daily Dungeon runs on a weekly pool

Despite its name, the Daily Dungeon does not have a daily lockout: it draws from a weekly supply of 14 Unknown Fissure entries, replenished every Wednesday. The dungeon is Daeva Bio-Research Base, a hidden Balaur research facility. You get a short, timed chance to defeat its test subjects while they are still undergoing transformation.

Nothing stops you from running all 14 entries on Wednesday night, and nothing refills them on Thursday, so treating it as a daily burns the pool in two days. Running two entries a day lands exactly on 14 by the next reset. The counter is shared per server, so an alt on the same server draws from the same 14 entries as your main. An Instant Clear Ticket claims the reward again without a full run, but it still spends an entry.

Altgard field bosses for gear and refining stones

Soul Ruler Kashapa and Silent Dartan are level 48 Hero-rank field bosses of the Cogni type. Kashapa roams Verteron and the Fafnite Deposit in Altgard; Dartan appears in Verteron’s Southern Altamia Highland and Altgard’s Basfelt Ruins. Open the Exploration menu and check the Field Boss list to see where each one has spawned.

Both bosses guarantee a bound loot chest and share the same refining-stone drop table, which is where most of the Kina sits.

DropRarityChance
Refining StoneCommon46.7%
Expert’s Refining StoneRare11.7%
Artisan’s Refining StoneEpic5.8%

Each boss also rolls its own Unique armor set: the Breastplate at 6.4%, Greaves at 8.6%, Helm and Pauldrons at 10.3% each, and the Gloves, Boots, Cloak, Earrings, and Ring at 12.9% each. On the Market, Artisan’s Refining Stones sell for 380,000 to 400,000 Kina, Expert’s Refining Stones for 107,666 Kina, and Lesser Manastones for 150,000 Kina.

Join the fight when the boss sits between 30% and 50% HP to lock in participation credit. These targets typically need 30 to 50 faction players to go down, so arriving in that window secures your share of the drops.

Per character or per server: where alts help

Some limits belong to each character and some are shared across every character on a server. This split decides whether an alt adds rewards or just burns your allowance.

  • Per server (clear once on your main): Duty Missions, Daily Dungeon entries, Shugo Festival keys, Dimensional Invasion keys, and the unclaimed cube count.
  • Per character (each alt adds a full set): Odyle Energy, Nightmare attempts, Ascension Trial entries, Subjugation tickets, Exploration counts, Sanctuary raid attempts, and Battlefield victories.

Alts are valuable mainly because each character produces its own 120 Odyle Energy a day, which turns into extra cubes. Generation begins at level 22, so push a new character to that point and let its energy build while you play elsewhere, then move gathered materials to your main through server storage. Keep the shared tasks on your main, since an alt clearing Duty Missions or Daily Dungeon entries only takes them from the character that needs them most. Once you know which counters bank and which expire, the routine settles into a shape: top up Odyle Energy and clear the five Duty Missions daily, then spend one Tuesday session on Ascension Trials, Daily Dungeon entries, raids, and leftover Abyss time before Wednesday wipes them.
