Dimensional Invasion is a cooperative combat event in AION 2 where you fight alongside other players against waves of enemies and a closing boss. Your score comes from the damage you deal and the enemies you defeat, and your rank on the final board decides how much loot you can pull.

Quick answer: Join from the timer beside your map, deal damage within the three-minute limit, then spend a Dimensional Invasion Reward Key on the rewards screen to claim loot.

How Dimensional Invasion works

When an invasion is live, a timer icon appears next to your minimap. Click it and choose one of the active events to teleport into the arena, where you glide down to join the other players waiting for the fight to start.

Each run lasts three minutes. Enemies spawn across the platform in waves, and a boss emerges in the center near the end. You score throughout the whole timer, so there is no downtime between the trash waves and the boss.

Dimensional Invasion types

There are three invasion scenarios, each with its own enemies and final boss.

How to earn points

Points reflect the damage you inflict and your kill count. To rise on the leaderboard, eliminate enemies rapidly instead of taking them on individually.

  • Use area-of-effect skills to hit several enemies at once.
  • Bring a high-damage class or build so packs go down quickly.
  • Keep attacking the boss when it appears, since it is worth a large share of your score.

Where you finish on the board changes your reward draw. The top two players pull four loot rewards, and the top five pull three.

Dimensional Invasion Reward Keys

A Dimensional Invasion Reward Key is the entry ticket that lets you claim loot. The key is only spent when you pick cards on the rewards screen. If you cancel the card selection, the key stays in your inventory, so you can keep fighting invasions as often as you like and only cash in when it is worth it.

  • You gain 1 key per day.
  • Keys reset daily at 16:00 server time.
  • You can hold up to 7 at once.

Because keys cap at seven, clear an invasion and claim your rewards regularly so you do not waste the daily grant once you are already full.

Rewards and Monster Cubes

After the results screen, a Monster Cube opens and lets you flip cards to reveal your loot. The event has its own reward pool of gear sets across several rarities, plus gathering materials and currencies.

Typical pulls include Refining Stones, Enhance Stones, odite materials, equipment, and Century-root Tokens. Refining Stones are crafting materials for gear, and Monster Cubes are one of the fastest ways to stock up on them.

Spending event currency at the Shugo Festival

The currencies you earn can be traded at the Shugo Festival shop for growth materials and skins. Several of those items raise your gear score, including the three below.

How to confirm you claimed your rewards

When the timer ends, an Event Complete results screen shows the ranking board with your final point total. The Monster Cube interface then opens for card selection. Once you flip your cards, the chosen loot lands in your inventory and one Reward Key is deducted, which confirms the claim went through. If you back out before flipping any cards, your key count stays the same.

Boss levels and reward item requirements

All three closing bosses are aggressive hero-rank creatures with 8 spawn points each. Two of them share a level, and Captain Tetrata sits a few levels lower.

Among the Beritra Air Raid adds, Ferocious Racon is a normal-rank Fera at level 14, with 340 spawn points. That is far more spawns than any boss has, so packs of Racons make up much of the early wave count.

Level requirements and trade rules

Check these before you plan a purchase at the Shugo Festival shop, since a character below the required level cannot use the item.

Refining Stones are the only item here you can trade. Extra stones from your Monster Cube pulls can go to other players or to a vendor, while the bound crystals and shards stay with your character.

The Stigma Shard costs 10000 Abyss Points. The in-game description of Abyss Points calls them “a mark of honor won on the fields of a war without end.” Plan for that price before you spend them elsewhere.

Refining Stones also drop from many other places, including party dungeons, raids, creature drops and field events like Goldrin’s Treasure and Hidden Lugi. If you hit the seven-key cap, those activities are another way to build up your supply.
